💜⚽️ No more clashing calendars… now it’s OUR turn to celebrate! ⚽️💜

This Thursday night SHJSC is finally getting its chance to celebrate Female Football Week and honestly? We’re leaning all the way in ✨

Theme of the night?
💖 SPARKLE 💖

Our U8 and U10 girls teams will be teaming up for a fun mixed game full of sparkle, teamwork, laughs and very important main character energy 💫

Expect:
🧇 Waffles + ice cream + strawberries & cream
🌭 Halal BBQ + usual canteen goodies
🎶 Music
✨ Hair sparkle, face & body diamantes

We’re also hoping to do a couple of super simple “vox pop” style chats with some of the girls during the night — little questions about what they love about football, their team, favourite moments and all the good stuff that makes community sport special 💙

📣 Note to parents:
If you’re not happy for your child to participate in a short social-media style video/chat for club socials, please let one of the volunteers know on the night.

💜⚽️ Baby let the games begin… ⚽️💜

Female Football Week is about celebrating every girl and woman who helps make this game what it is.

At SHJSC, our girls teams might be smaller in number right now… but they are BIG on spirit. Big on courage. Big on determination. Big on showing up and having a crack anyway 💪

From first kicks to captain armbands, training laughs, sideline friendships and muddy socks… these girls are carving out their place in the game and we’re ridiculously proud of them.

And behind every team is a whole crew of women helping keep community football ticking along — mums, coaches, volunteers, managers, carers, canteen legends and chaos coordinators 💙

This week is for all of you, and we’re looking forward to celebrating together at the club next week!

The canteen will be open Tuesday instead of Thursday for training this week… and we’re bringing the comfort food energy 🍗

Hot roast chicken rolls with gravy available from the clubrooms:

🥖 $8 — Chicken roll
🥤 $10 — Chicken roll + drink combo

Plus the normal canteen menu will still be available too 💙
