🎶 Learn to Square Dance – Beginners Welcome! 🎶

Looking for a fun way to get active and meet new people?

Dance in a square and make a circle of new friends! 🤝

Square dancing is a great way to:
• Get fit while having fun
• Enjoy music and laughter
• Meet friendly people
• Stay warm and comfortable in our hall during winter

📅 Starts: Tuesday, 30 June
🕖 Time: 7:00 pm
📍 Venue: Sunshine Coast Square Dance Centre, 260 Dixon Road Buderim
💲 Cost: $12.00 per person (cash preferred)

👟 Please wear enclosed, flat-soled shoes and comfortable clothing.

No experience is necessary, and you don't need to bring a partner—just come along with a friend or two and give it a try!

We recently attended the 40th QCA Qld State Convention. Had a great time mixing with friends from near and far. Dancers from NSW, VIC, ACT, TAS, and SA.
Got to keep the Square Dance Clubs going so that this fantastic fun activity continues. Our next intake will be early 2024.
Yep the 40th was the Naughtieth.
Next years State Convention will be a Combination of the 41st State Convention and the Sunshine State Round Up with the Square Dancing Society of Qld celebrating 70 years of operation.
Lets make this another great event and see how many more people we can get involved in this fun healthy worldwide activity.

Once you have learnt the Mainstream Movements of Square Dancing, yes it requires a regular commitment to the classes, than you can travel to the many events around Australia.
National Conventions for the next few years will be in Darwin NT 2024, Morayfield Qld, 2025, Tasmania 2026 and Victoria 2027
All States hold their own state and club festivals. Join TAWS and receive all the information of forthcomig events.

A new Introduction to Square Dancing will be held at the Sunshine Coast Square Dance Centre on the 25th July - "Don't say NO - come and give it a GO"

Our Square Dance Classes will recommence next Tuesday the 8th March at 7 pm. Come and give it a try.
