Introduce your students to Mini Movers, a 5-week mindful movement program designed to nurture social, emotional, and physical well-being.

With 4 progressive levels, students develop skills through movement, mindfulness, and connection — building from foundational experiences through to deeper, school-aligned learning in Level 4.

Yoga can help babies develop their gross and fine motor skills, balance, and coordination, as well as improve their flexibility and strength.

Our program within centres involves gentle stretches, massage, and playful movement tailored for infants. It supports a baby's physical development and emotional well-being, feeling calm and relaxed.

Our tip for anyone wanting to add some yoga at home is to always follow baby's cues and never force any movements.

Children's social and emotional development is a crucial, lifelong process starting at birth, involving the ability to identify, manage emotions, and build positive relationships.

Key skills include self-awareness, empathy, cooperation, and resilience, which are developed through secure attachments with caregivers and consistent interactions in early childhood.

Between ages 3 and 5, children experience rapid social and emotional growth, becoming more independent, imaginative, and social.

They develop friendships, learn to share and cooperate, and manage emotions better, though they still need support with big feelings.

Between 5 and 7 years old, children experience significant social and emotional growth, transitioning from egocentric thinking to understanding perspectives, developing empathy, and navigating complex friendships.

They become more independent, capable of regulating emotions, and sensitive to peer opinions while developing a stronger sense of morality and self-identity.

Term 2 incursions have recommenced with Geo Wellness Kids, and if you have any queries about how we can support your school or centre's wellbeing programs, feel free to send us a DM, email [email protected] or 📞 0400 668 832

Does your child like to keep playing within the school ground or head to a park straight after school finishes? This could be why.

Playground activity serves as a powerful, natural regulator for the nervous system, blending sympathetic mobilisation (energy/excitement) with ventral vagal safety (connection/calm) to build resilience, flexibility, and emotional regulation.

It helps children and adults widen their "window of tolerance," reducing stress-induced anxiety and burnout through movement.

Even though your child may not know how to explain why they want to keep playing, it really is more than just fun. It helps with the regulation of emotions after a long day of structure and routine.

Parents/ Caregivers -
Next time your child says "5 more minutes," take a few deep breaths, and refelct on this post. Maybe even use those 5 minutes to sway in a swing yourself.

Tummy time is a baby's first workout.

It is important for a child to have tummy time because it allows them to use neck and upper body muscles and stabilise the head when sitting upright.

We incorporate tummy time exercises in a fun, safe, and engaging way, so even the littlest of children in early learning centres benefits from our programs, too!

What Makes Our Programs Different

Our approach goes beyond movement alone. With a strong foundation in Early Years Learning and child development, each session is thoughtfully designed to support young children’s wellbeing in a way that feels calm, playful, and meaningful.

We intentionally align our programs with the EYLF, supporting children’s confidence, emotional regulation, body awareness, and social development through age-appropriate movement experiences.

Sessions are inclusive, flexible, and designed to complement early learning environments, supporting educators while nurturing the whole child.

Let's Stretch, Bend and Play.
