Back in 2012, while living at Anand Prakash Ashram in Rishikesh, I was introduced to the practice of puja.
Every morning, before the day began, we would gather as a community. We would make offerings, express gratitude, honour the elements, acknowledge the cardinal directions, connect with nature, and remember that life is about something much bigger than ourselves.
I had never experienced that kind of devotion before.
Not devotion to a religion, but devotion to life itself.
That simple daily ritual left a lasting impression on me.
Then there’s chai.
Not just a drink, but a ritual of its own. Taking time. Making something with care. Sharing it with others. Sitting long enough to actually enjoy it.
And finally, chats.
Because underneath it all, I think most of us are longing for the same thing: connection. A space to be seen, to listen, to share stories, ideas, laughter, and maybe even a little wisdom.
So this Saturday at 7am, we’re bringing all three together.
