Next Thursday (11th of December) is the last training before the holiday break. Our club Secretary Deeno is kindly organising a club tea for players, families and sponsors. There will be free snag in bread from 6pm for the kids and roast lamb and/or beef plus veg from 7pm for older kids and adults for $10. Look forward to seeing as many as possible but please indicate how many adults to help with ordering.

This afternoon, our local girls had an incredible experience at the Stansbury cricket Ground!! Under the guidance of ex Scorpions star Tegan Dutschke (McPharlin), each girl received valuable one-on-one coaching. We extend our gratitude to Katie Johnson for initiating and coordinating the event.

Earlier this week we had 4 of our Junior Cricketer's represent SYP in the school SAPSASA carnival. Although a victory eluded them in a tough division they all had moments of brilliance and great fun. Pictured are Ethan, Paxton, Dexter and Owen.

So proud of our club today. 6 x Div 1’s stepping up including 2 debutants (Tyson Barlow & Zack Johns). Amazing win against Warooka including a brilliant innings from Will Miller (59) opening the bat for the 2nd time & Oscar Macgowan opening the bowling taking 1 for 9 off 7 overs 👏
The fielding from all the lads was amazing with some special efforts from a few old fellas (Mitch, Zac & Ed)

The new playing shirts have arrived and I'll handout at training this Thursday. The shirts are the same across the club now with a new design and sponsors. These shirts will be no charge to junior cricketers due to the generous support of the Shanina, Lyn and Robert Anderson. Thank you to the Anderson family who jumped onboard early in the recommencement of our Junior program and with their kind donations have helped make Junior Cricket at Stansbury the most affordable sport in the region.

Div 1's and div 2's officially start their season this week. Div 1's will kick off training at 4:30pm Thursdays with Dean and div 2's at 5pm with Pitty. Div 1's are welcome to join in with A grade training after at 6pm with Mossy but this is not compulsory.

Please remember to register each player before the first game i.e. this Friday.

Saturday games will run like previous years, try to arrive at the game venue by 8am for 8:30am start. First game div 1's are at home against Maitland and div 2's are away against Minlaton.
