St Albans Aikido Dojo St Albans Aikido dojo is dedicated to teaching the principles and techniques of Aikido.

St Albans Aikido Dojo is dedicated to teaching the techniques and principles of Aikido, in the tradition of the Aikikai. Aikido offers a means of self-defence which need not rely on harming or destroying the attacker. You will learn:
* Locks, holds, throws and pins from various attacks and grabs in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
* Hand-to-Hand techniques against single and multiple attackers.

* Weapons disarm techniques against sword, staff & knife. We welcome new students and visitors, whether or not they have martial arts experience.

Many thanks for Remembering and Honouring Brian Sensei

Dear Linda, Sam and Yusuke,

My deepest heartfelt thanks for organising and spending the time to participate in yesterday’s Commemorative Training for Brian Sensei.

It helped us all in our grief and was the only official event for Brian in Melbourne ( his ashes will be released at East Point in Darwin in the Dry Season in June 25 with family and Darwin friends).

It was wonderful to see you all in person and talk and share what you remember about him and how he was impacted your lives- Brian’s love of Aikido and his students and gentleness touched so many in a positive light and teachings-

I’m sure Brian and Sugano Sensei have met again and looking at all of you carrying forward their legacy.

To see Sam and Yusuke take the class was very moving and to know those we love are always internalised within us and hence the live within us-
