Shout out to U13 Lilac tonight 💜🙌🏾

They played with only 6 players and still put on such an incredible game to watch. Even with the pressure and two injuries during the match, they kept pushing through and never gave up.

Each quarter was neck and neck right to the end such a tight, intense game 💪🔥

We didn’t get the win tonight, but we are beyond proud of every single player for their effort, courage, and teamwork. You all should hold your heads high ❤️👏

Player of the Week – ✨🏐Charlotte🏐✨

Charlotte had a standout performance this week, confidently putting her training into action. She applied her sealing and breakout techniques brilliantly, creating space and giving herself a clear advantage over her opponents. Her awareness, effort and ability to execute under pressure made a real impact on the game. Such a strong step forward – well done, Charlotte! 👏🏼

I am really proud of this team’s effort today playing a full game with no subs. Even when it was frustrating at times, the players kept pushing forward into the next phase and stayed committed to working as a team.

There were good attacking drives and some still developing, but the effort and teamwork throughout was fantastic to watch.

Defensively, it was great to see players stepping up, getting intercepts, and learning their role as backup to centre passes.

It was also awesome to have one of our club’s junior coaches Marley Smits watching and giving feedback to the Lilac team—such a great learning opportunity.

As the team grows, I hope they continue building confidence and focusing on the small things that will help them improve even more.

Benji showed great confidence and all-round effort today. He worked strongly around the shooting circle, created smart drives and feeds in mid court, and delivered confident ball into his shooting partner. Defensively, he applied good pressure and worked hard over the ball.

A standout was his willingness to take on tougher shooting positions and longer shots, which he embraced with confidence and helped lift his team and the crowd.

Great effort overall—keep building that confidence.

Today on Anzac Day, we remember the men and women of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) their courage, resilience, and sacrifice for our country. We stand together with gratitude.

Their legacy lives on in the community, teamwork, and spirit we share every day.
