Create A Splash

Create A Splash We offer gentle lessons catered around children's needs following a strong child safety approach and having a child led focus where we can.

We believe that by creating ourselves around your child instead of expecting them to fit into cookie cutter lesson moulds we will give them the necessary tools so they all can make a splash! Our pool is heated and we offer swimming lessons all year around.

*ANNOUNCEMENT*
At Create A Splash our ethos is INCLUSION.
This means we create our lessons to fit the child in a way that means they can always be engaged and successful and we believe children should NOT have to be excluded from "mainstream" swim lessons wherever possible.
Growing up with Deaf Grandparents I have used sign language to communicate since I can remember.
Deafness never seemed like a disability to me, it just meant people needed to learn to sign.
At my Grandpas funeral I met my great aunties who were shocked that we could all sign to my Granny and I remember being shocked that as her sisters they couldn't.
Because there are numerous ways to communicate and everyone can learn to sign.
So imagine how happy I was to see that AUSTSWIM have now partnered with Deafness Awareness to train teachers to be able to implement easy methods to make learning to swim easier for children with hearing loss. Different communication methods do not just make life easier for deaf people but for ANYONE who finds communication difficult.
So I'm very honoured to be able to say I'm now a "puggles swim teacher" for children with hearing loss πŸ™πŸ₯ΊπŸ’• *pinkie*
