Hayleigh’s 💅🏽 Journey: 2023 ➡️2025

🏋🏽‍♀️Hayleigh commenced coaching with us and competed in her first powerlifting comp.
✔️Pic 2: 2024 (110kg)
🤰🏼She fell pregnant mid-prep 🥹🙏🏽 but was placed at high risk and advised to take some time away from training.

👶🏼Gave birth to Bubba Layne
✔️Pic 4: 2025 (88kg)
💪🏽4 weeks of consistent strength-based training in the gym and 10 weeks postpartum.

When I asked Hayleigh about her greatest achievement since starting coaching with us in 2022, her answer was this: ‘I got healthy and strong enough in my body and mind to fall pregnant and hold my little baby.’

I remember tearing up when she told me this. The female body is absolutely incredible. To have been and continue to be part of Hayleigh’s journey is a privilege I will always hold close to my heart.

Our FB page has been heavily neglected since 2022 😅🤦🏼‍♀️ with all of our content being shared on Instagram ( .women for anyone who’d like to play catch up).

However, I plan to post more consistently across both this year. Anyway! Here is a little recap & update for 2025. 🥳

𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 ❤️‍🔥 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 ❤️‍🔥 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧

I’ve rebranded a couple of times since I started coaching.
The OG gals will remember when .women launched as 𝘽𝙤𝙙𝙮 𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙔𝙤𝙪 before we transitioned and went under the name 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙩 𝘽𝙮 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙋𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜.
Both names reflected the growth and change within our community but shared a common denominator:
‘By You’ and ‘For You’, each showcasing the work and impact each woman has within their own training journey.
I’ve always strongly believed in encouraging the women I coach to take ownership and pride in the milestones they achieve.

Now, as I step back into full-time coaching and rebuild our in-person community at📍 .7, I wanted to chose a name that reflects us as a whole—myself as a coach, each individual woman, and the incredible strength we create as a community: 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻.

Same bodyweight but a completely different body composition. 👏🏻🤍
Beth has also been eating more food then she ever has before. Focusing on fuelling her body so that she can build some shape. ⏳🫐🌮

Beth has been weight training 2x a week at home and 1x weekly face to face.

So proud of this beautiful lady! It’s been hard at times, some weeks it’s been a huge mental battle BUT we’ve persistent, stayed consistent and are now seeing the results. 🤍✨

All wildly different but with the same commonality: to better ourselves. ✨

It’s rare that a group of girls who have never met can come together and instantly connect.
No bithiness, no judgement, just a whole lot of love and support for one another. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻


The energy and vibe at this shoot blew my expectations.
My clients are some of the greatest people I’ve ever met. 💪🏼

It’s such a buzz 🐝 word and has many attempting to lift more weight at every training session. However it’s not possible to continually progress in this way. 🏋🏻‍♀️

Progressive overload isn’t just adding weight to the bar, there are many others ways to progressively overload! 💪🏼
You aren’t always going to be able to add weight AND still perform the movement safely and effectively (if at all!)

Next time you are looking to make the exercise more difficult perhaps consider:
👉🏼Longer time under tension (slowing the rep down so that the muscle is under tension for longer)
👉🏼Adding an extra couple of reps
👉🏼Adding an extra set
👉🏼Paused reps
👉🏼Shorter rest periods
👉🏼One and 1/4 reps
👉🏼Increasing training frequency (amount of days you train in a week)
👉🏼Increasing range of motion (more depth in your squat for example)

Choosing a form of progressive overload will depend on what your training goals are.
Training for hypertrophy for example would have more of a focus on muscle time under tension and shorter rest periods than strength training would.
