“WHAT’S the point of grading?”
Probably one of the questions we get asked the most.

A grading is more than just earning your next belt — it’s an opportunity for students to challenge themselves, showcase their growth, and apply the techniques, discipline, and mindset they have been developing throughout their training.

It teaches consistency, resilience, respect, and the ability to perform under pressure. For many students, it also becomes a personal milestone that builds confidence both inside and outside of the gym.

Every belt represents time, effort, and progress earned — not given.

The result didn’t go our way this time but fights like this build experience, resilience, and character - all part of the journey.
