A beautiful sunrise marks the start of the 2026 season. We wish well our 230 players across 22 teams.

And remember the only thing that counts is that we build community and have loads of fun.

Sounds like SHPS girls and boys have been super competitive at the state athletics carnival - well done to all those children.

Almost all play soccer, so there will be some tired legs tomorrow.

Sushi Volunteers required - get involved.

Sushi Fridays once again desperately needs volunteers! Can you spare 1.5 hours on a Friday once per term? You will be packing and labelling sushi to send to the classrooms for our hungry kids.

Sushi Friday is the biggest fundraiser for our School Association and it is a great way to give back (low commitment!). Please reach out to [email protected] if you think you can help, even if it's only once!

We have partnered with Football Tasmania to organise additional training and coaching. The LIFT program aims to lift skills, confidence and fun. We are running the program for mixed groups and girls - supporting girls over 2026 is our core objective for the season.

The training will take place at Darcey Street Oval starting at 4pm on the 5th May (mixed) and 6th May (girls).

We organised our first school holiday camp yesterday to see what interest there might be. Nick and the crew from Showtime Soccer School delivered a wonderful day of fun, games, skills and competitions. Can’t wait to get them back again.
