Singleton Junior Rugby was founded in 1968 and has had a strong and proud history in Rugby Union in the Hunter Valley. 🔴⚫️ We kick Round 9️⃣ off tonight with our Under 13s and Under 15s taking the field at Rugby Park against Lake Macquarie & Hamilton.

The Under 17 Girls hit Marcellin Park one final time this season at 6:30pm in what is sure to be an emotion charged match.

Saturday we’ve got 5 teams at Allan Bull and 5 away. After a weekend off, the kids are ready to BRING THE STAMPEDE!

🏉 Congratulations to our girls who played at the Country & State Champs over the weekend.

Annabelle Gunn and Mila Hodge took home the Country Championship in Under 14s, with Annabelle earning selection in the Country squad. Skyla Shirtcliffe represented ACT/West Harbour and came away as State Champ Plate Winners.

The Under 16s secured the Country Championship with Ruby Brochtrup also gaining selection in the Country squad. Grace O’Brien also represented Western Sydney strongly.

Our strong representation continued into the Under 18s with Hailee Van Namen, Ella Cosgrove, Rachel Ella and Abbey Kelley finishing 3rd in the Country Championships 🏉

🏉 Congratulations to our boys who took part in the Country & State Champs on the weekend.

A successful campaign saw Angus Ropa in the Under 12s finish runner up in the Country Championship & 6th in the State.

Byron Neale and Kadyn Richards represented Western Sydney Two Blues finishing 14th out of the 25 teams competing.

Both Under 16s and 18s took home the title of Country Champions with Xavier Gunn, Lachlan Eather and Oliver McGarity earning selection for Country in their respective age groups 🏉

Junior games at Rugby Park are going ahead on Saturday 30/05 🤗

🏉 It’s set to be a bumper of day of rugby kicking off with our Juniors from 9am.

9am - U8 Black vs Merewether White
9am - U9 Red vs Maitland Black
9:50am - U10 vs Merewether White
10:40am - U14 vs Southern Beaches

From there we roll into:
11:40am - 18s vs Nelson Bay
1pm - Women’s vs Hamilton
2:10pm - B grade vs Pokolbin
3:30pm - A grade vs Muswellbrook

🍔 Canteen open all day

Rugby Park is the place to be this Saturday with a jam packed day full of footy, fun and festivities 🎉

GET INTO RUGBY

🌧️ Due to Rugby Park and Allan Bull being closed presently and the predicted weather, Get Into Rugby is cancelled tomorrow.

We will look to run an additional session in the school holidays to make up for the missed sessions. 🏉
