THE KICKS JOURNEY: THEN & NOW 🥋
From stepping onto the mats as a young student, to leading classes as a Junior Instructor and achieving her Adult Black Belt, Katie Panozzo’s journey reflects dedication, consistency, and a deep commitment to growth.
With 14 years of training, Katie was one of the first three students under Mr Giovenco to earn both a Junior Black Belt and later an Adult Black Belt. Today, she plays a key role in mentoring and developing the next generation, leading classes with confidence, care, and purpose.
Highlights through her students:
🥋 Guiding students to achieve Junior Black Belts and competition success
🏆 Coaching and supporting youth athletes at international events, including Oceania Championships in New Zealand (2024) and the World Championships in Las Vegas (2025)
👊 Helping young students build confidence, discipline, and leadership on and off the mats
Looking Ahead:
Katie has completed Year 12 and is in the final year of her studies to become a Primary School Teacher, driven by her passion for helping, supporting, and shaping young minds—both in the classroom and on the mats.
It’s more than martial arts.
It’s about leadership, legacy, and lifting others as you grow.
