The AFL Goulburn Murray office will close from today. They will re-open on Monday 13 January 2025.

We hope you all have a wonderful and safe festive season!

The AFL Goulburn Murray team would like to wish our football netball community a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

The office will be closed from Friday 20th December and will re-open Monday 13th January.

We’re excited to invite you to participate in our one-night AFL Nines Competition—a fantastic opportunity to participate in a fast, fun, and social version of Australian Rules Football! This inclusive competition welcomes all levels of experience and skill.

Competition Details:
Date: Friday, December 6th
Location: Kialla Reserve, Kialla
Time: 5pm-7:30pm
Field Sizes: Smaller rectangular fields ( maximum 100m x 50m)
Team Sizes: 9 players a side (up to 15 per team with rotating subs)
Cost: FREE

Divisions:
• Under 14 Mixed
• Under 16 Mixed
• Open Mixed

Why AFL Nines?
• Contact-free play creates a friendlier and more inclusive environment.
• Opportunities for all levels of experience to participate.
• Smaller field encourages more touches & kicks.
• Low commitment, maximum fun!

The competition will be managed and delivered by AFL Victoria, so you can focus on participating in this epic competition!

Hey everyone! Just a quick reminder that our FREE community screening of Equal the Contest is happening THIS THURSDAY NIGHT! 🎥✨

🎉 When? 14th Nov 5.30pm📍 Where? Kialla Park Community Centre

This event is all about creating a welcoming spaces for women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals to get active and inspired to try new sports in a supportive environment. Plus, it’s a great opportunity for sports clubs to learn how to be more inclusive and attract diverse participants! 💪

If you're looking for some football action this weekend, why not head down to Rumbalara Football Netball Club.

The club is hosting the 2024 VACSAL/ AFL Victoria Statewide Koorie Female Football Carnival.

The 2024 VACSAL/ AFL Victoria Statewide Koorie Female Football Carnival will be held this weekend at Rumbalara Football Netball.

The first game commences 8:50am on Saturday with the last game at 7:30pm.

Sunday starts at 7:40am with the U17s Grand Final commencing at 2.20pm and the Open Womens 4:15pm.

Good luck to all competing teams.
