🖤 In Loving Memory of Terry Evans (Tezza) 🖤

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we share the sudden passing of one of our club’s most beloved figures, Terry Evans, known to so many simply as Tezza.

Tezza was more than just a player — he was a founding member, a pillar of the Shellharbour football community, and a man who gave his heart and soul to the game and the club he loved. Through countless seasons, across many generations, Terry proudly wore the Shellharbour colours, and later continued to serve behind the scenes as a dedicated committee member, helping shape the future of our club with passion, wisdom, and care.

His legacy is woven into the very fabric of Shellharbour FC. From the stories in the sheds to the grassroots memories shared on and off the pitch — Tezza’s presence was, and always will be, larger than life.

💔 His passing has left a hole in our hearts, but his spirit will live on forever in every match played, every jersey worn, and every laugh shared by those lucky enough to have known him.

Rest easy, Tezza. You’ll never be forgotten.

Our Masters have felt an overwhelming wave of love from the football and wider Illawarra community this past week.

On Friday night, Russell Vale Football Club showed immense respect to our Div One team — offering kind words, genuine empathy, and a heartfelt minute’s silence in honour of Haggs

Coledale Waves Soccer Club also demonstrated the true spirit of football brotherhood, going above and beyond with their support — including a touching jersey tribute we will never forget.

Football is more than just a game.

RIP Johnny Haggs 🕊️

To honour Haggs’ memory, our Masters Over 35s will hold a Memorial Round tomorrow night, with both our Div 1 and Div 3 teams taking the field in his name.

We invite all players, friends, families, and past and present club members to come down and show your support.

John "HAGGS" Haggart

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved teammate, committee member and friend, John “Haggs” Haggart. John lost his battle with a fast and aggressive cancer.

Haggs was more than just a member of the Shellharbour FC Masters — he was a brother, a leader, and the very heartbeat of our team. His warrior spirit on the pitch, his incredible strength, and lightning-quick feet made him a force to be reckoned with. But more than that, it was his character, kindness, and unwavering loyalty that made him truly irreplaceable.

His loss has left a huge void in our team and community, one that words cannot adequately fill. We mourn not just a player, but a cherished mate whose legacy will forever be a part of who we are.

Shellharbour FC Masters extends our deepest condolences to John’s family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

For those who would like to pay their respects, John's funeral will be held on Friday 20th June @ 11am and hosted at Hansen and Cole Funerals Kembla Grange The Northcliffe Chapel 634 Northcliffe Drive Kembla Grange NSW 2526

May he rest in peace, and may his memory live on in all of us — forever.

Shellharbour FC Masters Over 35s had an incredible season in 2024 - securing the Maso Cup and Division 2 Minor Premiership. They're looking to build on their strengths by expanding from 1 team to 2 teams in 2025. Please fill out the EOI form below if you're interested in joining the team.

On Saturday night, the mighty Shellharbour FC, minor premiers and Maso Cup champions, faced a tough battle against a well-deserved Thirroul Thunderbolts in their quest for the Masters Treble. Despite the valiant effort, the boys fell agonizingly short in a hard-fought contest.

Throughout the season, Shellharbour FC demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork, exceeding all expectations and solidifying their reputation as a formidable force. Their resilience and determination on the field were evident, and they fought until the final whistle, showcasing the heart that has defined their campaign.

Although they didn’t clinch the Treble, the players can hold their heads high, proud of their achievements and the journey they’ve undertaken this season. Enjoy your well-deserved rest, lads! Keep your eyes peeled for what’s in store for Shellharbour FC Masters in 2025. The future looks bright!
