A 3 round battle that had the crowd on their feet! His opponent had muscles on his muscles and an engine that would shame a 20 year old. Brett couldn't care less and boxed his way to a unanimous points victory

This bloke is made of some special stuff!
He came into the weekend knowing he wasn't at full capacity, his opponent was a very experienced boxer with a history in the Pro's. Anyone else would've pulled the pin... not Robbie!
We formulated a plan and he executed it perfectly, taking victory via way of referee stoppage

2 fights in 2 days, welcome to the masters Julia! Stepping into the squared circle for the very first time on Friday, taking on an extremely fit and experienced fighter. Missing out on a debut victory by the slightest of margins 28/29 over 3 rounds.
We were respectfully offered a challenge fight the next day, having processed our learning from the day before Julia jumped at the opportunity and again, only missed having her hand raised in victory via a points decision

Another hard 3 round scrap that had the crowd on the edge of their seats, improving every time he steps through the ropes, our very own 'body snatcher' missed out on the Gold medal by split points decision

This was a rematch against an extremely elusive and accurate counter puncher, I couldn't catch him last year and I couldn't catch him this year either 😂
The hardest part for me was facing off against a bloke I have grown to respect and love like a brother over the last 12 months.

Well done to our little team of hard nosed North Queensland scrappers. You all fought with guts, grit and blind determination.
