Woke up today feeling AMAZING.

Yep. Today’s my day.

I felt motivated. I felt productive. I even thought, “You know what? I might finally go for that run today.”

Turns out, the universe had other plans

Cue: me screaming at a mouse and discovering we have a pest problem 😂

Today’s new mission: evict the mouse who had decided to take up residence in my daughter’s wardrobe

I bought the mouse traps and ant rid (for the car, because it turns out we’ve been caring for freeloaders in more than one area).
It was time.
They were officially being served their eviction notices.

One guinea pig is enough around here!

Halfway through the clean-up, the mouse decided it was time to make a dramatic escape

Cue me jumping, Aaron at the ready with a bucket in hand, what can only be described as a full-blown rescue mission, with two humans and one tiny mouse all equally traumatised.

Nobody was hurt.

The mouse was relocated.
The wardrobe is clean.
The ants are next..

And although the day looked absolutely nothing like I expected, I still got things done ✅

I didn’t go for that run

But I did get my cardio in 😂

Lately I’ve been noticing how easy it is to mistake a season of becoming for a season of being stuck.

It’s easy to look around and feel like everyone else is further ahead.

More certain.
More successful.
More established.

But growth isn’t a race.

Sometimes the most important changes are happening beneath the surface, long before we can see the results.

Swipe through if you need the reminder. 🌱

What’s something you’re learning to trust the process with right now?

I saw this tree today and I thought it was so beautiful!

At first, I found myself appreciating the support

The way it had wrapped itself around the pergola post as it grew. It reminded me of all the things that support us throughout our lives

The people who walk beside us
The experiences that shape us
The beliefs that help us make sense of the world

The things that hold us up when we’re not quite strong enough to do it on our own

And then my curiosity wandered somewhere else…

What if growth isn’t just about knowing what to hold onto?

What if it’s also about recognising when we’ve outgrown something?

When the thing that once felt supportive starts feeling restrictive

When a belief, a relationship, a role, or even an identity has served its purpose

Not because it was wrong

Not because it failed us

Simply because we’ve grown.

That was the thought a tree left me sitting with today 🤔💗

As you can see I’ve been reading Love’s Executioner lately 📖📚⬆️

At times it’s been fascinating.
At times it’s been uncomfortable.
At times it’s been downright infuriating.

And yet I can’t stop reading it.

One of the things I find most interesting isn’t even the clients’ stories.

It’s how incredibly open and honest the therapist is about his own thoughts, judgments, reactions and blind spots.

There’s something refreshing about seeing someone in a helping profession acknowledge they’re human too.

Not polished.
Not perfect.
Not always certain.

Just human.

It’s reminding me that growth isn’t always found in the books that make us nod in agreement.

Sometimes it’s found in the ones that challenge us, frustrate us, and make us question our own perspectives.

Those are often the books that stay with us.

Surely I’m not the only one who’s found themselves talking to the people in a book as if they can hear me 😅

What’s a book that had you completely hooked, even while it was frustrating the heck out of you?

We often tell ourselves:

“I just need more motivation.”

But what if motivation isn’t the problem?

What if the real challenge is that you’re trying to build a new life from an old identity?

If you still see yourself as:

* someone who always quits
* someone who isn’t confident
* someone who isn’t disciplined
* someone who isn’t capable

then every action feels like an uphill battle.

A more useful question might be:

Who would I need to become for this behaviour to be a natural expression of who I am?

Sometimes the biggest shift isn’t changing what you do.

It’s changing who you believe you are.

Because when your identity changes, your behaviours often follow.

So instead of asking:

“How do I stay motivated?”

Try asking:

Who am I becoming?

It felt time for a reintroduction ☺️

Not because my story has changed, but because my understanding of it has.

Over the last few years I’ve continued learning, growing and peeling back layers of my own conditioning, beliefs and patterns. As I’ve evolved, so has the way I support others.

At the heart of it all is one thing:

Helping people reconnect with themselves.

To slow down.
To get curious.
To trust their own voice.
To create change from a place of self-awareness rather than self-criticism.

This carousel shares a little of my story and the path that led me here.

If you’re navigating your own season of growth, self-discovery or transformation, welcome. I’m glad you’re here.

I’ve been reflecting a lot lately on the balance between certainty and curiosity.

For years I thought I needed to choose one or the other.

The more I learn, the more I think both have their place.

Curiosity helps us explore.

Certainty helps us move.

And sometimes the challenge isn’t finding the perfect answer—it’s trusting ourselves enough to take the next step with the information we have today.

✨ What’s harder for you?

Staying open to new possibilities…

or trusting yourself enough to make a decision?

👇 I’d love to hear your thoughts x

For years, I confused integrity with carrying more than my share.

More responsibility.
More understanding.
More emotional labour.

What I’m learning is that I can remain kind, compassionate and accountable without taking responsibility for things that were never mine to carry.

Some days I’m great at it.

Some days I still catch myself picking things up that don’t belong to me.

But I’m getting better at putting them back down.

✨ What’s something you’ve realised was never yours to carry?

Being Curious has been a game changer for me, I love questioning, reflecting and getting curious on everything that shows up and happens for me in life ✨

Where can you bring in more curious in your life today?

I love travel, even when it’s just to head home it gives me a great opportunity to slow down, breathe and be present.

I love using this time to just read a book or listen to a podcast, no thinking just being and receiving, it feels so great!

Do you allow yourself any time to simply be?
Doing is great and however you’re also a human BEING, don’t forget to simply BE every once in a while x
