WHAT A YEAR!!! 🤩

The Frillies boys took out the Bill Flamsteed Cup in an absolutely thrilling game against Goondiwindi Emus yesterday at Toowoomba Sports Ground, keeping the crowd on the edge of their seat right to the final whistle 😮‍💨🏆

It was tit-for-tat the entire game, with Gundy ahead 12 - 10 going into the second half before the boys in red nudged ahead to secure the Grand Final with a score of 29 - 26 ❤️🦎

Congratulations to young gun Stirling Gould on his Man of the Match performance - Stirling has been a powerhouse in defence all season and it was certainly recognised in yesterday’s efforts! 💪

Thank you very much to Downs Rugby, our match officials, Goondiwindi Emus and the many supporters who made yesterday so incredible. This has been a great season of country rugby and we have loved every minute of it!

Thank you to our Sponsors & Supporters - you are the heart of our little club and we appreciate your dedication year-on-year ❤️

Thank you to our coaching staff Scotty & Steve, Team Manager Eliza, and to our committee. What a massive achievement this season!

Finally, thank you to all the boys who pulled on a Frillies Jersey this year. This season required around 3,700kms of travel to games alone, and we appreciate the commitment shown by so many of you 👏

We did it…
