πŸ† HISTORY MADE | OUR HOME-GROWN CHAMPIONS ARE HEADING TO STATE! πŸ†

Rylstone Squash Club could not be prouder to share some fantastic news! πŸ’™

For the very first time, the Kandos High School Boys Squash Team has qualified for STATE! πŸŽ‰

This means Kandos High School will now have BOTH its Girls and Boys Squash Teams competing at the State Finals – an incredible achievement for our local young players and something the entire Rylstone squash community can be very proud of.

Our boys put in a fantastic performance to secure their place:

🏸 Pat was first on court and set the tone, winning his match comfortably.

πŸ”₯ Ed absolutely smoked his opponent with a dominant performance.

πŸ‘ Will powered through his match with an incredible 15–2 win.

πŸ’ͺ Mitch fought hard while carrying an injury and, although he didn’t get the win today, showed plenty of determination. He has been a huge part of this team’s success and their journey to State.

What makes this achievement even more special for us at Rylstone Squash Club is that these are our home-grown champions. πŸ’™

These young players have grown up around our courts, playing local squash, learning from our experienced players, and being supported and encouraged by our wonderful squash community.

Rylstone has always had a proud and competitive squash community, and it is fantastic to see the next generation coming through and achieving at this level.

To now have both the Kandos High School Girls and Boys teams heading to State is a huge achievement for our little community and shows just how strong squash continues to be in Kandos and Rylstone.

A massive congratulations to Pat, Ed, Will and Mitch, and to their coach Mrs Kerry Reynolds, on this fantastic achievement.

We are incredibly proud of you all and can’t wait to cheer you on at State!

πŸ† Mia Reddish | Representing NSW at the Trans-Tasman Squash Championships!πŸ†

We are incredibly proud of Mia Reddish, who has been selected to represent NSW as a member of the NSWCHSSA State Squash Team at the 2026 Trans-Tasman Squash Exchange!

The championship is being held at Thornleigh Squash Centre from Monday 24 August to Friday 28 August, bringing together selected school squash teams from New South Wales, Queensland and New Zealand.

Selection at this level is an outstanding achievement and a wonderful recognition of Mia's talent and hard work in the sport.

Mia will spend the week competing alongside some of the best young squash players from across NSW and against top opposition from Queensland and New Zealand.

Congratulations, Mia! The entire Rylstone Squash family is very proud of you. πŸ’™πŸ…

We wish Mia and the NSWCHSSA team the very best for a fantastic week of competition!

Henry Kross: has wrapped up his first World Junior Individual Championship in style, with 4 wins in a row πŸ’ͺ
Henry will have a well earned rest tomorrow and start to focus on the Teams portion of the event. At only 16, Henry is the youngest Aussie competing in the Under 19 event, and has stepped up with some great results over more experienced and higher ranked players this week.
