Pre season kicked off with a bang last night, great to see some new faces and extremely happy to see last years players returning. New coaching staff and a new approach to the way we go about our training.
Bring on season 2026.

The time has come to start the 2026 pre season training!
If you are looking at playing footy, why not come and try Rye Demons Women’s Football team. Come down to the first pre season session, it will be lots of fun!

Rye Women’s football team are extremely excited by the news that Vicki O’Sullivan will be joining the club for the 2026 season. Vicki comes with an exceptional resume, being part of the first Mornington premiership (2016) and playing in over 100 games of football in her career (Mornington & Edi-Asp), culminating in playing in the 2023 Division 1 Premiership & the 2025 Division 1 premiership for Mornington where she was also co captain. Vicki’s experience will be most valuable to the club as she takes up the role as our assistant coach. We would also like to welcome Vicki’s partner Joel and their small family to our club. Vicki’s family connections to Rye Football Netball Club started with her father Gary Sanford playing & captaining the seniors many years ago. We are glad to have the Sanford family back in Red & Blue.
