See below a great share from TFA who have been increasing the public profile and strength of controls regarding behaviour towards match officials.

Key points:
- most match official abuse does not come from players. it comes from the sideline, from coaching staff and from parents, the people our young participants look to as role models.
- coaches are asked to model the behaviour they expect of their players. parents and spectators are asked to remember that the young official is someone else’s child, and players are encouraged to thank their referee.

If you are playing for the first time this upcoming junior season we would like to invite you along to our Grading day.

This will allow coaches to grade new players accordingly to ensure all teams are as even as possible.

(Tiny Touchdowns and U8’s are NOT required to attend)

COACHING WORKSHOP! 🤩
This one is for our grassroots coaches.

Whether you’re a mum or dad who’s put their hand up to coach, a junior player stepping into coaching, a school coach, or you’ve got some experience but want to strengthen the basics — this workshop is designed to give you practical skills you can take straight onto the field.

We’ll focus on the fundamentals of coaching junior players: what to coach, how to coach it and how to turn those skills into game-based activities that actually translate to game day.

Led by Jayden Benbow, former Australian and Queensland representative player with 15 years’ experience as a representative junior coach.
