🏆 The Rockhampton Basketball Winter Season 2026 Grand Final Day is here! 🏀

Frenchville Panthers Basketball Club has 12 teams hitting the court across both Junior and Senior competitions for the biggest games of the season! There will be incredible basketball on display, so wear your FP colours, bring the enthusiasm, and come on down to build the atmosphere and show your support for our amazing players and coaches… we know they’d love the extra support from family, friends, and fans!

Date: 📅 Saturday, 12 September 2026

Location: 📍 Bravus Arena (37 Sir Raymond Huish Drive, Wandal)

Presentation: 🏅 Post-game presentations will take place in the main bar area, immediately following each Grand Final game

Spirit of the Game: ⚡ Let’s keep the energy high and positive! We encourage all spectators to cheer loudly and maintain the high standard of sportsmanship our club is known for.

🚫 Artificial noise makers can distract players and make it hard for officials and coaches to be heard. No pool noodles, pots and pans, or similar noise makers will be allowed inside the stadium. Please remember, this is a game, and we are here to have fun!

Best of luck to all our Frenchville Panthers teams competing this weekend! Play hard, have fun, support your teammates, respect the officials, and let’s finish a fantastic Winter Season on a high note!

Basketball Queensland Coach Development Manager George Robinson is in town this Sunday to run a session for all Rockhampton representative coaches.

Here's what the morning looks like:

🏀 One hour on court
📋 30 minute break and group planning
👥 90 minutes coaching live with around 8 athletes
💬 30 minute reflection and Q&A

You get hands on time with real athletes and feedback from one of the best in the state. Doesn't matter if you've been coaching for years or you're brand new to the pathway. There's something in it for you.
