🏁 CARINA CLASSIC RE-CAP & SEASON FINALE 🏁

What a weekend to wrap up the 2025/2026 season! It definitely tested our patience and grit before we even turned a lap, but the team dug deep for a fantastic result. 🙌

🔧 THE FRIDAY NIGHT MAYHEM
Our weekend almost ended before it started. During Friday night loading, the hydraulic throw-out bearing failed. We had to pull the gearbox, rebuild the bearing, and reinstall it all at the eleventh hour. A massive shoutout to Jeff from JKJ Steel for the crucial extra hands to get the car track-ready! 🛠️💥

🏎️ THE RACING 🏎️
We struggled badly through the heats with a brutally tight car mid-turn, but we managed to salvage enough points to secure a spot at the pointy end of the feature grid.

🔹 Heat 1: Started P8 ➡️ Finished P8
🔹 Heat 2: Started P1 ➡️ Finished P3 🥉
🔹 Heat 3: Started P4 ➡️ Finished P3 🥉
🏁 A-Main: Started P3 ➡️ Finished P3!! 🏆🏆🏆

To walk away with an A-Main podium after chasing the setup all weekend is a massive win for the team! 🏎️💨

🏆 PARKED IT IN VICTORY LANE: MARYBOROUGH RECAP! 🏁

We battled a brutal, cowboy track surface last night, but we chased the setup hard until the car was some what drivable. We gained enough points in the heats to secure us a front-row start for the main event, and from there we checked out, leading every lap from green to checkers to take the Feature win!

RACE RESULTS :

Heat 1: Started 7th ➡️ P4 (Clocked quick time!)
Heat 2: Took the win! 🏁
Heat 3: Started 6th ➡️ P3 📈
Feature Race: P1 & Top Step! 🏆

A massive shoutout to the crew : Jeff, Joel, Nate, Cooper, Chris, and Jett without these guys it would make my Job extremely difficult

Season Wrap-Up at McCosker Rockhampton Speedway 🏁

Last night marked the end of our local season, and what a ride it’s been. First and foremost, a massive thank you to my family, friends, and supporters. This season has been nothing short of epic, and I couldn't do it without you.

The car has been a dream to drive all year. Huge credit goes to Kye Walters for developing a killer shock package and Mason for giving me a perfectly balanced setup that makes my job behind the wheel so much easier .

My pit crew for the endless hours you put in to ensure this car is race- ready and reliable every time the car is on the track .

To my business partners: I hope I’ve done you proud this season!

Last Night’s Stats:

Heat 1: P9 ➡️ P4

Heat 2: P6 ➡️ P2 (Fastest Lap)

Heat 3: P1 ➡️ 🥇 (Fastest Lap)

Feature: Started P3, took the lead, but unfortunately sent to the Rear of Field (ROF) after being deemed the primary cause of an incident after a post race protest was made and was successful.

We have now shared a video showing that I was not the cause at all, and it was incorrect , which is certainly a bitter pill to swallow .

Despite the tough result in the main, we walked away with the fastest lap of 2 heats , the feature and the fastest lap time overall for the entire night. 🚀

Time to take a few days RNR , regroup and focus on the road ahead , which will see us at Maryborough on the 23rd of May

🏁🔥 CQ SLAM SERIES CHAMPIONS CROWNED! 🔥🏁

After a huge 2025–2026 season of racing, the Production Sedan CQ Slam Series has wrapped up at McCosker Gladstone Speedway!

This points-based series saw drivers battle it out across multiple events, chasing the top spot, the title… and a share of the prize money 💰

🏆 Congratulations to our winners:
🥇 Brodie Hollyman – 470 points
🥈 Hayden Turner – 359 points
🥉 Chris Annison – 268 points

All three drivers have been outstanding all season — consistently at the front of the field and delivering some incredible racing for fans trackside.

We thank all competitors who took part in the CQ Slam Series and made it such a competitive and exciting championship.

ROCKY NATS 06 recap .

What great night of racing , the crowd was huge , the race track was spot and we had a fast car that was on rails .

Huge thanks to my family for supporting me .

My crew and sponsers without these guys it just does not happen .

Feature - P2 - 🥈

Unfortunately we spun to avoid an incident on the first lap of the feature and the car is very second hand, but very happy overall on the car performance.

It would have been cool to win this event but there is always next year 😬
