Mystery Doubles held at the Monash Club, a good roll up was in attendance with several new players playing. Newcomers Alan Perry and Kris Cooper had a good night as Alan was paired with Neil Flack and Kris Paired with Ray Tyck. In the final Neil and Aland were able to hold of Ray and Kris to win the event. The maximum score of 180 was thrown five times with Ray Tyck, Paul Cooper, Allen Hargreaves all throwing one and Neil Flack throwing two.

In the Grand Final played at the Cobdogla Club on Thursday night, a hard fought match was played between Cobby Eagles and R C Ones. Although Eagles had a 2 – 1 lead after the doubles, R C Ones had their chances but were unable peg out. In the 1st round of singles four of the singles went the full three legs and either team could have won. Eagles were able to hold out R C Ones to win four of the singles to lead 6 – 3 going into the 2nd round of singles. Eagles were able to win two of the top three singles to eventually claim the premiership 8 – 4.
