PROUDLY BUILT BY OUR RACE FAMILY 🇦🇺🏁
I’m incredibly proud of our race family and, most of all, my husband, Robert Lye, for turning another idea into reality through hard work, experience and determination.

After racing with the boys for well over a year, we’ve experienced first-hand some of the challenges that come with using existing starters — heavy, difficult to handle and products that can place unnecessary demand on batteries.
With years of experience in fabrication and a genuine understanding of what racers need, Robert knew he could create something better.
He wanted to design a starter that was modern, practical, user-friendly and built with the racer in mind — something that would be easier to operate and useful for anyone who gets behind the wheel or helps in the pits.
And that’s exactly what we’ve been working towards.

Designed, fabricated and made right here in the Lockyer Valley, Queensland, Australia. 🇦🇺
This is more than just another product for us. It’s something born from our own experiences at the track, developed within our family and built with pride.

We’ll be putting it through its paces at the track before making it available, because we want to make sure it performs to the standard we expect.
This is only the beginning.

JD STARTERS — BUILT IN-HOUSE. BUILT TO PERFORM.
We said we had a few things in the mix… and here’s one of them.
Introducing JD Starters — our own custom-designed starter, proudly designed and built in-house with performance, reliability and practicality in mind.
Before we make these available for sale, we’ll be putting them through their paces at QDRC and Warwick Dragfest. We want to test them in real racing conditions and make sure they perform to the highest standard before they leave our workshop.
We’ve also thought about the people who use them. We know it’s not just the guys starting race cars — plenty of mums, ladies and younger racers are on the starters too. That’s why we’ve incorporated a large, soft-push starter button designed to make operation easier and more comfortable.
JD Starter — $795
Sold ready to use, including a lithium battery.
The adjustable battery mount is designed to accommodate both Lithium and Lead batteries, with a standard motorbike battery width and adjustable length for flexibility.
Made to order.
Built in-house.
Tested at the track.
Ready to race.
We’ll be taking orders once testing is complete, with worldwide shipping available. Postage will be calculated at the time of order.
And that’s not all…
We can also offer starter repairs, servicing and maintenance for other starter brands.

So we said we had a few things in the mix and here is one of them. JD Starters. We have designed our own style and made in house. We will be testing and using this starter at QDRC and Warwick Dragfest before selling any so we are 100% sure they operate and work to the highest standards. We have also taken in to account the mums and ladies who start the cars and have introduced a large starter button which is soft to push. The starter will be $795 sold ready to use with a lithium battery. The battery mount is suitable for Lithium and Lead with the std motorbike width and and adjustable length. These Starters will be made to order and shipped world wide if needed with postage calculated upon order.
We can also offer starter repairs and services on other starter brands.

The Last Few Days we had to rescue this little Guy his sibling was attacked and killed unfortunately by the other Hens.

The day after we rescued him he wasn't in a good way after a night getting up for feeds he made it
And now he will be joining us at QDRC over the weekend in his incubator.

We haven't named him yet so we are asking for some suggestions and we will get the boys to decide

Id suggest if your going to go for the full 10 years, learn how to actually build one. These things aren't by no means a mower Engine.
If my mower had an engine like these id be mowing our yard in a thor costume with theme music playing in the background 💪
