Libby Ellis - LIbby's Racing will be taking the wheel of the Lawson Racing Q46 Microsprint at Lockyer Valley Speedway this Saturday the 16th. Libby, a well known Australian Sprint Car Driver is looking forward to having a run with the QLD Microsprints. Not to mention the cheaper fuel bill at the end of the night.
We are excited to see how Libby deals with slightly less horse power than she usually has under her right foot.....

Spectators- Entry via Woodlands Rd next to tennis courts
Parking is available all over the grounds except in the pit area.

SPEEDWAY AUSTRALIA/ONE DAY PIT LICENCE
Only people who have a current Speedway Australia licence or have purchased a one-day pit licence will be allowed in the pits – please go to Speedway Australia website and purchase online.
Please remember Junior Licence holders under 12, they will only be permitted in the pits when they are racing. This is a national rule set out by Speedway Australia.
Please remember it is compulsory to have covered footwear when in the pit area of the speedway.
NOTE - Pit entry fees are an additional $10

What a night of bumper-to-bumper action at Queensland Microsprints on Saturday the 18th! 🔥🏁

The racing was tight right from the start, with Heat 1 seeing strong performances from Ben LePla (Q1), Lucas Dansey (Q48), Michelle Dansey (Q46), and Allan Baker (Q95), while John Lawson (Q44) unfortunately suffered a DNF after his chain came off.

Heat 2 delivered more close, hard-fought racing from start to finish, with Michelle (Q46) leading the way ahead of Lucas (Q48), Ben (Q1), and Allan (Q95).

In Heat 3, drivers started based on points, setting the stage for some great battles through the field as everyone pushed to improve their positions.

The Feature Race turned up the intensity even further, with drivers voting for a reverse grid. Early drama struck as Ben LePla (Q1) suffered another mechanical setback with his chain coming off, forcing a DNF.

From there, the action didn’t let up. Allan Baker (Q95) had to work hard to get past John Lawson (Q44) to secure a well-earned third place. But all eyes were on the front, where Michelle Dansey (Q46) and Lucas Dansey (Q48) put on an absolute battle.

In a thrilling photo finish, Michelle charged around the outside while Lucas dove to the inside, both racing to the line. After review, the Chief Steward awarded the win to Michelle by the smallest of margins!

This weekend is coming quickly and we are ready to put on a show this Saturday the 18th at River 94.9 Lockyer Valley Speedway. Keep your eyes out for Q1 Ben LePla, Q17 Allan Baker, Q44 John Lawson, Q48 Michelle Dansey, Q46 Lucas Dansey and Q8 Adrian Wren on the track putting on a must see show our line up may be small but these drivers put on a huge show every time they hit the track.
