Hard work but worth it any day of the week. :)

A lot of people may say it’s the ugliest thing to show but I think nothing related to work should be considered ugly, because no matter what it is, it’s being done in desire to achieve beautiful, genuine results and I think that’s what matters, right? 🙏🏻

One of the world's greatest ballerinas ❤️

Margot Fonteyn. She would have turned 100 today. Truly one of the great ballerinas, who epitomised artistry. I was lucky enough to see her dance three times; once as a seven year old, again aged 16, when I saw her in Giselle with Nureyev, and again in my thirties when she was nearing the end of her dancing life. Each time she was truly magical.

Some of her words had a great effect on me....."If I count, I can't hear the music" This is something I so feel myself and continually try to impart this to my students. Feel the music and let it create your movements.

I still remember where I was in 1991, driving down the Southern Outlet in Hobart when I heard of her death on the car radio.

Such an influence on my ballet life and on that of countless others. Thank you Dame Margot.
