QUAIRADING QOONAKS INTO THE GRAND FINAL! 🏏🏆

The Qoonaks punched their ticket to the Grand Final 2 weekends ago with a hard-fought win over York Imperials at Quairading.

After a disciplined bowling performance, the boys rolled York Imperials for 88, with several bowlers sharing the wickets in a strong team effort.
Jaydip Vaddoriya was outstanding with 2/5 from 6.3 overs, well supported by Declan Mills (2/15), Jack Richards (2/17) and Shaun Simpson (2/20).

Chasing 89 for victory, the Qoonaks had to work for every run on a tricky wicket, finishing 7/90 to secure the win.
William Bowring anchored the innings with a patient 26, while Declan Mills (23) and Jesse Mitchell (15) made valuable contributions to guide the side home.

👏 A great team performance to book our place in the big one!

Last Friday night we had a T20 game against Swan Valley.
We knew we were in deep trouble when they started warming up in front of us. None the less Binga and Shaun took a couple of early poles and limited the damage to 139.

With bat, Shaun and Thick opened up and let’s say with the keeper on the boundary, they didn’t see many balls. We battled our way to a respectable 89.
Thanks to all our supporters that made the trip.
Big thanks to Swan Valley Sporting Club for having us and will definitely become a regular fixture going into the future.

This week we have a chance to lock in top spot against York in York. So pack the limo and we will see you on Saturday.

Yick Hadlow here, yesterday I made almost no runs so I wore my full kit to the scorchers with my good friend duck. I think I’m not very good at this game of cricket.
