What an Open Mic last night! Full blackboard of talent from Portland, Kandos, Blue Mountains, Glanmire and all places in between! The Open Mic is continuing to be a safe place for people to let out their inner musician and has already incubated some future superstars!

Next Open Mic will be on Saturday July 4.

📢 NEW Wednesday Afternoon Tai Chi & Qi Gong Class at Portland Golf Club.

Due to a strong response to our Monday and Tuesday sessions, launched in April, there’s now a Wednesday session.

📅 When:
Mondays at 10am
Tuesdays at 2pm
AND NOW Wednesdays at 2pm from June 3rd

📍 Where: Portland Community & Sporting Club (Portland Golf Club) cnr Pipers Flat Road and Bell Street, Portland
💰 Cost: $10 casual / $80 for 10 classes ($5 per session for concession card holders). Your first class is FREE.

Who is this for?
If you are looking to improve your health, mobility and vitality, this is for you. No fitness level is required—these gentle, flowing practices meet you exactly where you are, even if you haven't done any exercise in years. We focus on the practical everyday benefits of moving, breathing and calming the mind.

Our group sessions target:
• Stiff joints & lower back tightness
• Balance, leg strength and reducing fall risks
• Stress relief, poor circulation and insomnia

What to Expect
There are videos on the renaissance-qi website.
Just wear loose, comfortable clothing, bring some water and move at your own pace.

Two weeks and counting now for our next Open Mic! Who’s up for it? Mooks is coming, possibly Brian Free and a host of other local players of all levels. Welcoming environment with an open bar and food available on the night.
