Happy Birthday mate! Couldn’t be prouder or more happier to have started and been on this journey with anyone else!.. We were already close as brothers but this has probably brought us closer than ever before!..

Although this journey has nearly ended as a team, you’ll always be welcomed back with open arms whenever you decide the time is right!..

For everyone reading this, Ryan has decided to step down as a co trainer for a little while! Ryan and his lovely wife Chels have a couple very talented kids at their sporting attributes, times have gotten really crazy for them both and also quite expensive with the travel and accomodation involved.. So for now, Ryan has decided to put family first and give up on training for the time being! Expect to still see him around as a stable hand helping out where and when he can but for the time being he’s made the hard but right call!

I will downsize but continue on by myself!..

This Monday 23rd of February will be Ryan’s last time as trainer at Globe Derby, swing by and wish him well with our team!.

Short but sweet!

Harold came to us early December with a plan to change up his training resume, to hopefully build a nice form line for a sale!

It probably happened a lot quicker than we expected but 4 starts, a 4th, 2nd and two thirds seen the plan work out perfectly and today after only a month and his 4th start with HBR, he has been sold!

Thanks to Shane Smith for allowing us to be apart of his journey!

All the best to his new owners! We hope you find some quick success with him!

Our no1 stable hand BUT everyone that knows him knows that he’s lots more than that, would give his last $1 to anyone that needed it, his own shirt off his back. Our dad is in some strife and we are hoping this will help him and mum get thru what looks like some rough times ahead. The least we could do! Stickers and two harness bags for Aaron Bain Racing..

2 months ago on our way to Kapunda trots our float busted a tyre and everything else apart of the hub! Absolutely rocked us with what we were going to do!

After a post on Facebook we received and inbox almost immediately from Aaron. We’re not naive enough to know how really lucky we are! We had a 4 horse angle load float on our doorstep a week later to borrow for as long as we needed it!.. We will forever be grateful to Aaron and his team for coming to our aid and allowing us to keep racing our team while our float had to be fixed in the back ground!..

We also would like to acknowledge Lisa Ryan and Toby Ryan!… The day of the Kapunda trots, it was going to be highly unsafe to bring our loaded float home with the way it was, so in typical Lisa and Toby fashion they opened up there arms and allowed us to store our two boys there over night so we could get the float home safely!..

And thirdly, a massive thank you to Butchy Smith and Marty Schrader and also Dale Afford for allowing us to borrow their floats in the mean time while we organised Aaron’s float to arrive!

As we’ve said from the get go, there are still alot of great people in this industry and we’re forever grateful for the help we receive along the way!

A time of 1:55 two starts ago here at Pirie and to be beaten that night is stiff as a board. Fil deserved this tonight, he’s beautiful and he’s tough as nails. Great group of owners also aboard, including our Nan who turns 80 in a couple days. This can be your bday present thanks lol
Thanks mick for the steer, no instructions needed for when you and him are together out there.

Some great results with the other 3 also but a special mention to our off sider who also happens to be our dad with the time he’s put in with Lincs poor boy, first up after a pretty ordinary set back showed he’s still got it tonight. Flashing red light all over him.

Another good trip down to Globe Derby today!..

Tig drew terribly but we thought we’d send him and put him in the race early and he battled to the line really well after doing some real tough work early!..

Hy Filante 🥉
Fil picked up the ace draw again but it probably brought him undone when trying to hold them out today.. Settled behind the leader and got to the line really nicely again!..

Cheers to Michael A Smith for taking both our drives today! Drove to instructions perfectly and got on the podium with both the boys!
