We had a lovely time yesterday playing pairs. Everyone was so friendly and talkative. They've convinced us to stay another night and go with them to Quorn today. We'll do just that. We really enjoyed their company. Here is my blog post from our website.

We're on our way to Darwin. We stopped in Peterborough overnight Sunday and today we've stopped at Port Augusta and are camped at ETSA Bowling Club. Day 1 of the Masters games held at Etsa Bowling and Croquet Club. Today we seen the Four's being played with a great turn out. Congratulations to all medal winners 🏆 Tomorrow the pairs are being played at the Port Augusta Bowling club. Make sure you head down and watch some fabulous Bowling.

Spencer Gulf Womens Pennants Semi Finals are at ETSA Bowling Club tomorrow at 9.30. Our ETSA blue team are playing against Qourn and Port Augusta pink are playing whyalla Golf.
Please get there to support the ladies tomorrow if you can, would be nice to see a turn out to support fellow bowlers 😊 Good luck ETSA Blue!!!!

Today the Ladies State pairs were played at ETSA with 3 sections battling it out. Section one was won by Marti Garard and Faye Kemp from Port Germain winning their sectional. Barb Griffin/Erin Griffin and Sue Kelly/Jane Paynter entering the final game being 2 game winners with the Griffins coming out on top to win their section. Section 3 was won by Daisy Coe and Judith Millington with 2 wins.
Section 2 will now play against section 3 while section 1 went straight through to Adelaide.

Well done to the ETSA Girls and good luck in the knock outs!!!

Friday night saw the ladies and men's singles finals being played. In the history of the ETSA Bowling Club it was a first time for father and son grandfinal, with Rob Williams being victorious over Grant Williams.
In the Ladies grandfinal, it was a tight tussle between Barb Griffin and Cheryl Thomas with Barb coming out in front to take the championship.
Congratulations to both Rob and Barb on your victory and well done to Cheryl and Grant on making the finals this year in the singles.
It was a great turn out to watch both matches, its nice to see a club support your team mates 👍

The Port Augusta Prison held their staff xmas show at the club. It's nice to see people have a good time and celebrate the festive season. Plenty of food and laughter along with a game of bowls. Might have to join a few people up. Thankyou to the few staff that helped behind the bar, helping with the bowls and general tidy ups!!!!
