Been a little while and thought I’d check in. I haven’t forgotten the beautiful space and people teaching has brought me and I am feeling this inklings stronger of what I miss.

But life is never linear and as chapters change from moving and a new job, I look forward to the dust settling and finding some space soon to get back into this.

Coming off the weekend that was RESET Retreat with

A chance to come back and remember. In a few ways this reminded me of the beauty that is teaching, and I’m so glad to have the trust to hold that space, on what was a retreat of depth, connection and presence. Tangibly felt.

Something I penned after;
May the whispers of your heart,
The doors of your soul,
The sanctuary of your spirit, be unleashed.

I’ve always wanted to be honest and authentic in however I show up and this is no different.

The Frequency of Yoga will be taking a break. These past few months has seen me fall a little out of love with yoga and teaching, and even my practice has dwindled. Alongside some mental health struggles, I think it’s important to recognise what I need.

Underneath all this, I have a resounding desire to still hold space and teach in the future, but for now we’re allowing some time to breathe.

I have a very full heart, for both the leap and journey this past 6 months has taken me on but also the people who’ve supported me along the way, family, friends and even those who came to a single class.

For me, I’ve always to provide depth and hopefully make an impact, no matter how small in community and even in conversation. And I feel like I have.

A little bit of honesty, vulnerability and authenticity as a human still figuring this all out.

There’s been a lot of big questions coming up for me as of late, and trying to navigate what feels right out of a place in the body and not just the mind.

So it’s been a little quiet here these past few weeks. A few weeks ago it kind of dawned on me, although I’ve swapped industries my nervous system felt like I was very stretched thin akin to how it used to run. And naturally when building something there is devotion and dedication. But this didn’t feel sustainable.

Between the roles of a single father, business owner, sibling & adult, I think this is a time to find out what is sustainable, in a world that does sadly need bills paid, but also presence, love and energy. And maybe somewhere I forgot to direct some of that to myself.

FoY isn’t going anywhere, but we’re just unravelling the layers and finding our feet in a sustainable, heart-led way.

This week looks a little different! I am taking some time off to head away for some things I love.. community, music, dancing(!) and festivals.

New week!

This week we have a new moon in Pisces, I’m starting a Meditation + Yoga Nidra teacher training, and excited to be intentional and grounded, listening to how I can show up (not just for others but myself)
