Well that's my first season done and dusted!

From a childhood dream to a reality, two years ago when I first bought the racecar. To finishing my first season, what a journey it has been.
15 nights of racing over 3 different tracks, Perth Motorplex, Bunbury and Geraldton plus a few practice nights, all the hours in the shed to get it ready for each race. To finishing almost every race, making most feature races and winning my first heat race at the Australian Title, even finishing the season with a bent racecar, I couldn't have asked for a better start to my racing career.

This wouldn't have been possible without the help over the season from my brother Luke, Damo, Matty, Ross, Justin and Jake, your help has been greatly appreciated.

To my partner Ramona and my little boy Kyan, thank you for allowing me to fulfill my dream and spend all the time in the shed to make this possible. To the rest of our family, thank you for your support and help over the season.

Western Australian Wingless Title
Night #1

Heat #1: Started: P10 Finished: DNF
Heat #2: Started: P1 Finished:P6
Prelim Feature: Started: P19 Finished: P17

Night one was a struggle, heat one the car didn't feel the same after making some repairs during the week from last saturday's crash, ending heat one early due to spinning out twice.
Made a couple of changes to the car and had a better run in heat two but got past by a few faster cars.
Had a good run in the prelim feature on a rubber down track, passing a couple of cars and finishing in 17th.

We go again tonight for Night #2 of the Western Australian Wingless title and our last night of racing for this season.

Wingless Australian Title full Recap.

Night #1
Heat #1 Started: P1 Finished: P1
Heat #2 Started: P11 Finished: P8
Prelim feature: Started: P7 Finished: P10
29th on points out of 74 cars.

Night #2
Heat #1 Started: P5 Finished: P10
B-main Started: P9 Finished: DNF
Tough night last night after a good first night.
Heat one, lost a few spots on the opening corner getting pushed around a bit. Was gaining back in on the cars infront but just ran out of time.
B-main Started P9 with top four making it into the feature race, got an okay start and was running in 11th position when I tried to pass a car around the outside and just clipped his right rear wheel sending me into the fence. This resulted in me pulling infield with some heavy damage to the car.
All in all, an awesome weekend competing in the Australian title. Thanks to Luke and Damo for the help over the weekend. I'll get the car fixed and be ready to hit the track again this weekend coming for the Western Australia state title.

Not the best night on track, driver was a bit rusty and made some bad dissions on track. Was good to be back out on track and gain some laps before the Australian Title next weekend.
