Carnevale snuck its way into Perth on Valentine's Day and Viva Photography was there to capture this celebration of Beauty Romance & Sensuality.
The inaugural heARTactually Charity Gala was held to raise funds for the heart disease research, education and prevention programs run by the Heart Foundation. heartactually also broke new ground as a pioneer running the world's first ever online crowd funding art competition - "heartactually".
Oh what a night it was with the QV1 Upper Plaza turned into a spectacular romantic boulevard by the creative genius of WED on Beaufort. Lit up by Megavision the evening kicked off with an Australian Fashionistas parade featuring ranges from Morrison, Mar Rio, Mauricio Alpizar and Betty Tran.
Villamar models mingled with calendar Firies in a scintillating display of sensual elegance. Jean Kittson adorned with a sparkling Hearts on Fire Diamond Necklace from the Smales Diamonds exhibition introduced this unique charity event.
The right Honorable Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi opened the event and guests enjoyed performances of romantic originals by the sultry Jen de Ness and a heart racing "Cher-lesque" performances by Ruby Delure, Coco Poppins and Perth's ever-talented Jaye Yates.
Perth's hidden talents the Spooky Men of the West brought the entertainment through to Superior Sounds DJ Ray Mangano's dance party.
Courtesy of fresh produce supplied by Tony Galati's Spudshed, the guests enjoyed tantalizing tastes from Versace Catering as real Roman pizza was being hand-made and served and Jerry the King of Oysters did his best to break the world speed record for shucking delicious oysters.
Thirst satiating Matsos brews and exquisite Swanbrook wines flowed freely as guests wondered amongst the visual feast and intimate insight into art.
Italian gelato from Modo, wild raw vegan treats and delightful cup cakes provided by now Perth local Louise Pillidge (Blake Garvey's beautiful beau) were relished by the guests who needed a boost to get dancing with the parading Yanique Samba Dancers.
Perth's reality and sporting stars - Dr Sally & Tyson, Louise & Blake Garvey, Carole & Russell, Carmelo Pizzino were seen to mix and take photos with Damien Martin, Greg Hire, Michael Walters and other VIP's from the Heart Foundation on this wonderful and spectacular night.
