⚽ LOCAL FOOTBALL OPPORTUNITY | BUTLER COLLEGE SPORT ACADEMY

A great opportunity for our current Year 6 players heading into Year 7 in 2027. 💙💛

Our neighbours at Butler College are holding trials this week for their Sport Academy, giving students the opportunity to develop their football skills alongside their secondary education.

📅 Wednesday 2 September

The program includes accredited coaching, opportunities to gain coaching and officiating qualifications, and representation at school carnivals and events.

We’re always happy to share opportunities that give our young Mindarie FC players another pathway to develop, learn and enjoy their football.

“WHY NOT?!” 💙🏆

That was the mindset going into this one.

A Division 2 Mindarie side taking on Noranda — the current leaders of the Amateur Premier Division.

We’d already knocked out TWO Premier teams on this cup run… could we make it three?

WHY NOT?!

Dalvik Park was absolutely incredible. A huge crowd, electric atmosphere and a night that felt special before a ball was even kicked. 💙

Then 60 seconds in, some great play through the middle of park. Tom Ashworth winning the ball down back and playing ball to Dylan Rooney, who passes wide to Connor lynch, floats a cross in to IAN COOKLAND who smashes In a beautiful header to make it 1-0! 🤯🔥

Noranda threw everything at us, with Frazer McKevitt producing some unbelievable saves, before they eventually equalised in the 74th minute. The game finishing at 1-1 with penalties to follow

Our Reserves have done it AGAIN — knocking out Noranda Emerald Premier Amateurs after an absolute battle at Dalvik, holding their nerve to win ON PENALTIES! 😮‍💨⚽

What a night. What an atmosphere. What a group of lads.

This cup run is becoming something pretty bloody special — and we’re not done yet.

A massive thank you to everyone who came down, packed out Dalvik and got behind the boys. You were part of it. 💙
