🌟 WA Strongman is the premier organising body for strongman in Western Australia. That seeks to bring competitions unlike any other here in this wonderfully large state of ours. Strongman is a growing sport that seeks to challenge competitors through strength-based events that are designed to push the human

body to its very limits. Competitions can see athletes carrying 400kg on their back over a set distance, lifting over 300kg in deadlifts or even pulling trucks weighing anything over 20 tonnes. There are few limits on the events and training that strongmen put themselves through. WA Strongman is headed by an established strongman Committee Made up of volunteers who embody the Ethos of WASM. WA Strongman seeks to promote the sport of strongman in the WA community, and provide the training and competitions for strongman athletes in WA to test themselves. WASM operates under the goals of being Inclusive and community orientation. Whether your new or experienced you'll have a place in the community to thrive. WA Strongman will also be providing tailored Strongman seminars set to begin in for any gyms that are interested in learning more about this challenging discipline. For local introductions to the sport get in contact with and of our affiliated Gyms who provide coaching and introductory services for the sport. Kilos of Kindness is back for 2026! đź’Şđź’›

On Saturday, August 1st, we’re coming together once again to attempt something massive:
1,000,000kg lifted in one day!! 🤯

But this isn’t just about the weight on the bar. It’s about using strength to give back.

This year, we’re proud to be fundraising for It’s From Elsie and Variety WA, two incredible causes supporting children and families, from infants in NICU through to children who need extra care, opportunities, and support.

The greatest start of any strongman season.

It’s safe to say The Hallway Open may have been the greatest start to a strongman season in WA Strongman history.

And honestly, that’s saying something.

This competition sold out in record time, but what happened on the day was bigger than numbers, entries, trophies, or records.

The vibes.
The atmosphere.
The camaraderie.
The noise.
The support.
The community.

It was genuinely something else.

Words will never fully describe what we all felt last weekend, but we hope this beautiful video comes close to doing it justice.

To every athlete who stepped onto the floor, every spectator who cheered, every volunteer who gave their time, every coach, supporter, sponsor, photographer, videographer, family member, friend, and every single person who helped bring the day to life thank you.

Thank you for making this sport what it is.

Thank you for showing people that strongman is more than lifting heavy things. It’s courage. It’s connection. It’s effort. It’s pride. It’s people standing shoulder to shoulder and willing each other to be better.

And to everyone who has fallen in love with this sport recently we can’t wait to see the memories you help create next. ❤️

2026 is the year of the Strongman community.
