Heading off-grid? Keep help close at hand. 🧭

NOOLIMits OZ’s Emergency Help feature gives travellers quick access to emergency contacts, nearby services and Traveller Assistance when exploring remote areas.

For life-threatening emergencies, always call 000. In remote areas, carry a PLB or satellite communicator—mobile coverage and app services are not guaranteed.

G’day legends 👋

Thought it was about time I properly introduced myself and NOOLIMits OZ Travel.

NOOLIMits is about getting out there, exploring Australia and building something genuinely useful for 4WDers, campers, caravanners and anyone who loves travelling this country.

This is just the beginning — there’s plenty more to come. 🇦🇺🤙

And a massive shout-out to my son CJ and my good mate Tommy for getting involved and helping me put this together. Couldn’t have done it without you boys.

See you out there.

When in Broome……..
It is mandatory to visit Cable Beach and witness one of WA’s most amazing sunsets.
Get there early, to ensure a good spot - you won’t regret it.

Drive the road less travelled………
This year whilst in the East Kimberley, we decided to drive Duncan Road.
It intersects the Victoria Highway just near the WA border and heads south to pop out at Halls Creek. You cross the WA/NT border about 4 times and skirt the might Ord River and the back of the Bungles.
The country side is so vast and amazingly diverse. We also didn’t see another car for the first 350km!

🚨🇦🇺 **SATURDAY FOUNDER’S UPDATE — THIS ONE’S A BIG ONE!** 🇦🇺🚨

I’ve been hanging out to share this one with you guys and girls.

**NOOLIMits OZ Travel Version 1.1.1 is ready — and we’ve just taken a pretty bloody big step towards what I always wanted NOOLIMits to become.**

Introducing…

# 🆘 TRAVELLER ASSISTANCE 🆘

Imagine you're travelling somewhere in Australia.

You're a long way from home.

Something goes wrong.

Maybe you're stuck.

Maybe you've got mechanical trouble.

Maybe you've done a tyre.

Maybe you need a tool, a hand, or simply another traveller nearby who can help.

It's **not an emergency**…

But right about now, seeing another friendly face would be bloody handy.

**That's what Traveller Assistance is about.**

NOOLIMits members can now opt in to become part of a network of travellers willing to help other travellers.

If a member needs **non-emergency assistance**, they can send an assistance request to nearby opted-in NOOLIMits travellers.

Someone nearby receives the alert.

They can open it.

See the relevant request.

And potentially lend another traveller a hand.

Think about that for a second.

As the NOOLIMits community grows, so does the potential network of travellers looking out for each other right across Australia. 🇦🇺

That, to me, is bigger than simply adding another feature to an app.

**That's building a community.**

🚙 Travellers helping travellers.

🏕️ Campers helping campers.

🚐 Caravanners helping caravanners.

🇦🇺 Aussies looking after each other when we're out exploring this enormous country.

And I want to be VERY clear about something:

🚨 **Traveller Assistance is NOT an emergency rescue service.**

It does NOT replace **000, a PLB, satellite communications or proper remote-area preparation and emergency equipment.**

If it's an emergency — use the proper emergency services.

Traveller Assistance is for those other moments when things haven't quite gone to plan and another traveller nearby might be able to help.

And that's not all that's landed in **Version 1.1.1.**

🆘 **Traveller Assistance alerts**
Tap an alert and go directly to the relevant assistance request.

🧭 **Improved navigation**
We've made getting around the app and returning to the main NOOLIMits experience easier.

💬 **Better Messenger notifications**
Continuing to improve communication between NOOLIMits members.

📸 **Better photo handling**
More work behind the scenes to make photos behave the way they should.

🔧 **Reliability & usability improvements**
Plenty of less glamorous work under the bonnet making the whole app stronger.

And all of this keeps pushing NOOLIMits towards the bigger vision.

Because I've said it before and I'll keep saying it:

**I DON'T WANT TO BUILD JUST ANOTHER CAMPING MAP.**

I want NOOLIMits to become:

# 🇦🇺 AUSTRALIA’S OFF-ROAD TRAVEL COMMAND CENTRE 🇦🇺

One place bringing together:

🗺️ Maps
📴 Offline travel
🏕️ Camps & caravan parks
⛽ Fuel & fuel-range tools
💧 Water & travel facilities
🚙 4WD tracks
🧭 Trip planning
🐌 GPS Snail Trails
⚠️ Travel information
🆘 Remote travel tools
💬 Private messaging
📡 Trusted location sharing
⛏️ Prospecting tools
🆘 **And now Traveller Assistance**

But here's the part I'm probably most excited about…

The more people who become part of NOOLIMits, the more useful this community can become.

Not because of me.

**Because of YOU.**

Real people travelling Australia.

Sharing knowledge.

Helping each other.

Looking out for one another.

And hopefully making exploring this incredible country just that little bit easier for the next traveller.

We're still building.

We're still learning.

We're still improving.

And believe me…

**WE ARE NOWHERE NEAR FINISHED. 😎**

So here's this week's question:

👇👇👇

**If another NOOLIMits traveller needed a hand near you — would you opt in to help?**

I genuinely want to hear what you think about this one.

And to everyone who's been testing, sending feedback, finding bugs, suggesting ideas and supporting NOOLIMits…

**Thank you.**

We're building something much bigger than the app I originally imagined.

And I'm bloody excited to see where we can take it. 🇦🇺❤️

**Built for people who still have places they want to see, roads they want to take, and dreams they shouldn’t keep putting off.**

**NO LIMITS. JUST ADVENTURE.** 🚙🏕️🇦🇺
