It is time...
Sanders Motorsport are shutting the roller door to the race shed.
After taking some time to take stock of life so to speak the last couple of months there are a couple things we are certain of; I've been blessed to have been able to something that 10 year old me would not have dreamt possible, I really love speedway especially here in WA and as good as it was life must always come first. With work expanding and getting busier, a young family and new bub there's not much time left for racing and all the time and energy required to prepare a competitive car.
Over the last 4 years we had an Outlaw Kart, 2 Sprintcars and a Legend car come through the shed with a new Legend bought and ready to go before deciding to move it on. There was a lot of thought to go back into Outlaw karts as it fits our constraints but ultimately decided family first.
Never say never, who knows, when the kids are old enough might roll a few karts back in but that's a thought for another day a few years down the track.
Big Thanks to the divisions we've had the chance to run in all very professional and great social circles, biggest props to the Legend Cars W.A every weekend we more often than not had a terrible night on track but there were always a few cold ones to be had around the BBQ at the track campground so if any one reading this wants into racing there's no better place to go.
All the sponsors that invested in the team over the years every bit helped us fix something or make us better or get us to the next race a small team like us are very thankful for the generosity and support to do what we love, that's to go racing.
And lastly to all the guys and girls that I personally have had the pleasure of meeting and teaming up with my knowledge has grown bounds from the first time I turned a spanner when the kart turned up in my shed in parts and now have relations that will last a long time, so to O'Bryan Brothers Motorsport, RJC Motorsport, Bradshaw Motorsports, Campbell Racing thanks for all the time in the shed playing racecars.
