Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Education Counsellor (QEAC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of the Australian education system. You’ll be advising students on study options, assisting with admissions, and ensuring a smooth journey from enrolment to visa processing. This is a target-based role, perfect for individuals who are driven by results and eager to achieve and exceed their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advising international students on a wide range of education pathways including vocational education training, and higher education in Australia.
• Assisting students with course applications, enrolments, and visa requirements.
• Maintaining strong relationships with education providers and staying up to date with course offerings and admission requirements.
• Conducting thorough assessments of students' goals and academic backgrounds to recommend the most suitable study options.
• Supporting students throughout their study journey, from initial counselling to enrolment and beyond.
• Promoting iStudy Education and Migration Service’s brand and offerings to prospective students and global education agents.
• Working closely with other offices to grow student recruitment.
• Leading role ensuring efficient, accurate, and student-centric services.
• Maintaining 100% data accuracy across all client records in our CRM.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in international education counselling or student services in Australia.
• Demonstrated success in managing student applications, enrolments, and visa processes.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with culturally diverse clients.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to design academic pathways.
• Solid understanding of Australian visa regulations and the international education sector.
• QEAC certification is required.
• Fluency in English and at least one additional language is highly desirable.
