P3 in the Fruitbowl Classic 🏆

Good way to end a tough weekend in Carnarvon, didn’t have luck go our way for most of the weekend but the team never gave up and kept digging to bring the W50 home on the podium.

Congratulations to Brandon and Travis Sharpe on a well deserved 1,2 in what was a thrilling 30 lap final.

Thanks to Joshie, Chris, Lucas and Stacey for all their efforts throughout the weekend.

This officially brings our season to a close, it’s going to be a busy off season to hit the ground running for season 26-27!!

We go racing from 4pm tonight!!

Two more heat races before the Fruitbowl Classic A main !

Night one was short lived in Carnarvon

A wet track early caused many laps of wheel packing before hot laps.

Hot laps saw Fitzi struggle to get comfortable on the wet track, so we made some changes prior to qualifying.

Qualifying well… was a disaster with a misfire developing at the drop of the green flag, resulting in a P9 starting spot for the heat.

The team worked hard to find the cause of the misfire, which was caused by a broken plug wire on cylinder 2. Fitzi started P9 and was able to drive up to P5.

It was then when the heavens opened and the call was made to postpone the rest of the program to tomorrow, hats off to the entire AshFuels Carnarvon Speedway team for trying their best with the tough conditions.

Eyes forward to tomorrow night !

UNFORTUNATELY THE RAIN HAS CURSED US AGAIN.

The opening night of the Northern Aspect Construction North West Championship has come to a halt midway through night one as a heavy downpour has forced the early ending to tonight’s racing. The decision was made to save the track for tomorrow rather than try again tonight.

We will continue action tomorrow from event thirteen and as a result the program will start earlier.

Please stay tuned to our page as more info posted tomorrow once we have a clear path forward.

That’s a wrap on season 25/26

We came into night 2 of the WA Championship 22nd in the points standings. We made the invert and had a pole position start for our last heat.

We once again struggled with a misbehaving car and fell back to P4 at the end of the 8 laps.

This put us out of P2 for the first B main, we decided to throw the sink at the car and made some big changes to try and lock into the show.

The car finally came alive and we were having some great battles with Carly Walsh Racing and Jye Mckenzie Racing. Unfortunately while in a transfer spot, we threw the belt causing an early end to our night. But we were glad we finally got the car back in a window.

Congratulations to Tyson Martin Racing on a fantastic couple weeks, safe travels home to all the eastern states teams!

Finally massive thank you to our crew who worked so hard all year, and of course our supporters and our partners! We have some big plans for next year 🔥
