🏆 AKA Runners up for the 12 week challenge 🏆

This client came in after just recently having a baby. With only being able to lift the barbell for her squats. She has worked at it while being away from me as being a online client and chipped away at her technique and coming back with some amazing results.

With having some road blocks along the way we persevered through the storm and still continued to work through it.

The performance results speak for themselves.

The aim of this 12 week challenge was not to smoke my girls to the point where they’re run down and getting injured easily.

It was about prioritising rest when we need to rest and working out when it’s time to put in the work.

Woman struggle to rest we feel guilty for giving ourselves a break. And in fact it’s the most hardest thing to convince my girls is that the results will come but they’ll be sustainable results that you can hold onto rather then quick challenge with insane amount of volume then finishing that challenge and putting it all back on because we didn’t learn how to sustain these results.

It was giving the mindset tools to be able to navigate through the storm to not give up on yourself and build the resilience to pick up where you’ve left off if you had hit a road block.

Focussing on our performance goals rather then physique changes. Changing our mindset around body weight & scales and not fixating and obsessing over a number but however looking at ourselves subjectively through feeling “e.g feeling more energised” and objectively through performance “testing.”

If you focus more on your body’s ability to lift heavy s**t.

You can base your fitness journey off of performance which allows you to look at yourself through your capabilities to lift at your best ability and value the lifts that you keep adding weight to.

Rather then..

Look at yourself and analysing through body physique you’re going to be much more critical and have higher judgement of your body image.
(While in the process)

Value numbers // value data - the number game will always win and your body will be a by product of focusing on performance rather then body physique.

That’s naturally part of life.

Keep in mind though that without a healthy mind, body, and spirit, your life won’t be everything you need it to be.

The real health is wealth meaning goes back to the old proverb that means having a total state of optimal wellbeing is really the ultimate goal in life that will allow you to be intrinsically (naturally) well off at your core. 🌱❇️

It has nothing to do with money, but has everything to do with achieving the greatness of being you. 🗣🧠
