Introducing a FREE mini-series of workshops run by my friend and colleague, Donna Smythe from Wildflower Psychology and fully sponsored by the Shire of Mundaring!

I recently attended a resilience workshop for teens run by Donna and was so empowered by the information I received. It has helped me understand all of my relationships on a new level.

Donna is so great at what she does that she is always booked out for 1-on-1 sessions, so we came up with this idea for her to deliver to more people in need. We have arranged this series of 3 workshops just for our community and they are fully supported and funded by the Shire of Mundaring.

This is huge. Real advice that works and empowers.

Yesterday was epic!! Many thanks to the Shire of Mundaring for co hosting this event with us 🥰 82 kids from 7 different schools came together for the first time to learn about leadership 🤩🤩

Today I had the privilege of joining the Student Leadership Summit, hosted by ROAR Inc and proudly supported by the Shire of Mundaring. It was fantastic to see so many primary schools from across the Shire come together, all committed to growing the next generation of leaders.

A highlight was being interviewed by Ava on behalf of the students. The questions showed real insight into what skills leaders should develop and how young people can influence positive change.

I walked away energised by their passion and impressed by their willingness to consider what kind of leaders they want to become!

The goal was $15,900. Enough to run 3 school programs. At hour 23 we had raised $14, 340 - an epic and amazing feat beating last year's tally by over $2000! Then in the final hour, something miraculous happened:

We received an anonymous donation by a local couple who have grandkids in ROAR. They have seen the benefits of our programs firsthand and wanted to help. THEY BROUGHT OUR FINAL TALLY TO $50,000!!!

There was a lot of crying.

This is enough to run 9 school programs and sponsor 15 places in our after-school programs.

To our amazing donors: thank you for your generosity, your vision, and your belief in ROAR Inc. This is the kind of support that creates real and lasting change for local families. You are the best kind of people.

Meet Connie. A year ago she could only swim 25m. In the past 23 hours she has swim over 20km to raise money for ROAR.
