Today saw the final of the
All Abilities Bowls Central Coast Open Championships.

🏆Competing for the gold were Scott Jones with director Jason Stubbs, and Bill Ng (B1) with director Bill Gardner (B4).

Throughout the 6 week competition, both competitors saw off a pair of round games and a semi final in order to progress to the big dance. In the end, it would be Scott who took control of the final match and defeated a valiant Bill by a score of 16-3.

A big thankyou must be given to the competition’s organisers and hosts, Ourimbah RSL Bowls as well as the umpire on the day, Maurine Green.

Also a special thanks to every one of the competitors, directors and volunteers who made this year’s competition one to remember.

A great contest, with Violetta starting strong before Scott produced a determined comeback to take the win.
