A very cool update all the way from America.

One of our own, Aidan Wilson is currently in the USA again playing with Kern Premier Water Polo.

On the weekend his team qualified for the top division at the Junior Olympics at the end of July. He has been smashing it, scoring over 60 goals in 2 tournaments.

Aidan is the perfect example of hard work and dedication paying off! We are super proud and cant wait to see what you bring for the Junior Olympics 💪

Shout out to our players Abi, Annabelle and Milla for convincing their teachers they could get a water polo team together.
They were Western Champions and had a great day in Newcastle for the finals today. Thanks OHS for supporting the girls to introduce their sport to more kids 🤽‍♀️

Australian Youth Championships

Week 2 Wrap up

Meg had an absolute blast at AYC representing Balmain in the U12s 🐅.

Her team has come away with 3 wins over the week, but even more importantly, she’s soaking up every moment — learning so much and building friendships that will last a lifetime.

Such a special experience and we couldn’t be prouder!

Shout out to local boys Aidan and Jack who also played over the 2 weeks for UNSW and Kraken.

AYC 2016 - Brisbane, Week 1 - Wrap Up

Blake represented Canberra Kraken in the U14s and finished the tournament strong with a couple of great wins. He spent some time in goals and really stepped up when it mattered, facing a few shootouts and staying cool, calm and collected under pressure 👏🤽‍♂️

Annabelle also had a fantastic tournament on the whistle, refereeing with confidence and bringing back some great experience ahead of our next season.🫶

Season Wrap Up

Before all the fun on our last game day we held a little presentation for our junior players.

Our coaches selected two players who had improved immensely over the season to receive coaches awards. Congrats to Ruby and Theodore.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our volunteer coaches for all their time this season. Sam, Annabelle and Abigail we cannot thank you enough. Early mornings and late afternoons our players and their families really appreciate your efforts this season.

Our small but mighty committee will be working hard in the off season to make sure we get off to a good start next season.
