This week's Orange Motor Group Warriors OMG Moment goes to Makyedah Marsh, who made his senior debut on the weekend and certainly didn't look out of place.

Coming off the bench, Makyedah stepped into the senior ranks with confidence, determination, and plenty of heart. In a season where the Warriors' depth is being tested through injuries and player unavailability, it has been incredibly pleasing to see our junior players continue to answer the call when their club needs them most.

The future of the Warriors is looking bright, with our young players proving week after week that they are ready to step up and compete at the next level. Makyedah's debut is a testament to the hard work being done throughout our junior ranks and the commitment these young players are showing to improve their game.

Forefront Fulltime and it was a tough day at a cold and wet Wade Park for the Warriors, with all three grades going down to a strong Cowra Magpies outfit.

Our Youth League side kicked things off and, despite being without several key players, never backed down against the competition leaders. With only two players on the bench, the young Warriors showed plenty of grit and determination before Cowra came away with a 28-10 victory. The effort and commitment from the boys cannot be questioned.

The Ladies were also missing a few important players but were right in the contest for most of the game. A couple of costly errors at crucial times proved expensive, allowing Cowra to score some late tries and take the win 22-6. There were plenty of positives to take from the performance, with the ladies showing plenty of resilience throughout the match.

Our Men's side had their depth tested once again, and full credit must go to the young players who stepped up when called upon. The Warriors were well in the contest at 16-6 before a strong second-half performance from Cowra saw them pull away for a 58-12 victory.

While the scoreboard wasn't what we were after, the experience gained by our younger players will be invaluable moving forward.

Results didn't fall our way today, but there were plenty of signs of character, effort and determination across all three grades. The Warriors will regroup, learn from the weekend, and prepare for another tough challenge next week.

Thank you to all our supporters who braved the cold and wet conditions to get behind the club. Your support never goes unnoticed.

Orange Motor Group OMG Moment of the Week

This week's Warriors Orange Motor Group OMG Moment of the Week goes to McCallum Cole on his well-deserved First Grade debut for the Warriors.

McCallum looked right at home in the top grade and certainly didn't look out of place. Every time he touched the football he looked dangerous, taking the game on with confidence and showing plenty of composure under pressure. His speed and willingness to back himself created opportunities whenever he was involved in attack.

What impressed just as much was his work in defence. McCallum came up with several crucial try-saving tackles that helped keep the Warriors in the contest, proving that effort and commitment aren't just about what happens with the ball in hand.

Adding a little extra spice to the occasion, McCallum found himself lining up against his brother. As expected, there was no love lost once the whistle blew, with both boys competing hard and giving it their all for their respective teams.

Making your First Grade debut is a special achievement and McCallum can be proud of the way he handled himself. It was a performance full of promise and one that suggests there is plenty more to come in the Warriors colours.
