Our girls went down 5-3 to a very (once again) fit and fast Parkes team that were solid all across the board
Our girls were gallant in defeat fight until the end
Good luck next weekend in Bathurst Parkes Hockey Incorporated

The Orange United girls are the epitome of a side that play as a team and enjoys each others company and friendship

Well done on a season that had a bit of everything with injuries, working commitments and illness that meant some of the games were played with the bare 11

Thanks once again to our fantastic manager Jane Jones who does an unreal job behind the scenes- without her the games wouldn’t run so smoothly and who would supply the tissues?

The Orange United girls were courageous going down to a very fit and skilled Parkes team 2-1 yesterday

An awesome game by our goal keeper
Kathryn Cox and a valuable save that stopped a certain goal off a short corner by Isabel Howarth kept the girls in the game

Team work and effort in what turned out to be hot conditions was on display with our younger players continuing to improve and demonstrate that they are ready to be competitive in the premier league with every game 😊

The girls will be back in action playing in Orange on 15/8/26
