“Another double digit bag of goals has seen Gnowangerup’s Timm House named as the West Coast Poly Player of the week. House’s 13 majors led his side to a commanding win over Boxwood Hills in last weeks Belt Up Round clash in the Ongerup Football Association. Remarkably the former Geelong Cats listed forward has now kicked 60 majors in only 7 matches this year.”

Each week the WACFL chooses an outstanding performer on the field from around the state to be the West Coast Player of the Week.

Ongerup Football Association Wrap Round 5 - 15-05-2021

Congratulations to Gnowangerup Football Club for winning the AFLX comp at yesterday’s Borden X Cup, edging out Warperup 0.4.6 (30) to 1.2.6 (28).

The club has very generously decided to donate their $2500 winnings to , so Borden Pavilion will be adding this amount to what we collected throughout the day and donating to Boxwood Hills’ 2021 BIG FREEZE event. An amazing gesture - thank you!

Congratulations also to Narrikup Netball Club for their 21-10 win over Railways in the FAST5 final, taking home $1500!

We can’t thank everyone enough for being involved in this years Borden X Cup! What a fantastic day ⭐️
