For anyone healing or navigating challenges this Christmas šŸ¤

You are not behind.
You are not broken.
You are still here — and that matters šŸ’Ŗ

Sometimes the quiet moments become the beginning of something miraculous ✨🫶

18/12/2025

This is a longer video than I’d usually share - but it comes from a very sincere place.

This Christmas has felt different for me after loss, tragedy, and great love.
So on Christmas Eve, I’m opening a gentle, healing space for anyone who needs a safe space to rest, to breathe, to move mindfully or who doesn’t want to feel alone.

✨ 90 minutes
✨ Christmas-spirit themed yoga, breathwork & reflection
✨ Everything optional — movement, journaling, breath work, rest, gentle Christmas spirit through story telling and embodied practice
✨ Optional donation to Vision Australia šŸ™

You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need yoga experience.
You don’t need to be joyful or ā€œokay.ā€

As long as you’re breathing with us, you belong.

I’ll be there even if I’m the only one on the mat — but if you’re feeling a little alone this Christmas, or you’d like a softer way to arrive at Christmas Day, I would truly love to see you there šŸ™ It would be my honour to share this practice with as many friends, new and old, as possible.

šŸ“ Christmas Eve
šŸ•Æļø Starting around 4:30pm (final time to be confirmed)
šŸ“© DM me for details

Everyone is welcome šŸ¤ share with friends that might need a little extra love this Christmas šŸŽ„
DM me on any of these accounts to secure a mat šŸ™

A lot of riders I meet think a half-halt is mostly about the hands….

A stronger rein aid
A quicker check
A firmer contact

But the hands are only a very small part of what actually makes a half-halt effective…

I believe that when a half-halt truly lands, it starts inside the rider!
in the breath,
the subtle body,
the seat,
the core,
and the timing of how the body reorganises itself - vital for clear communication and consistent training that sticks!!

Most riders are never taught what’s happening there.
They’re just told to ā€œhalf-halt againā€ without even realising what their own body is supposed to be doing which leaves us feeling quite confused, and that shows up in the clarity of our aids šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

That’s why I created the Reign Method Half-Halt Breath.

A four-phase breath and body practice that teaches the rider how to
prepare, gather, lift, and release -
so the horse can finally respond with clarity instead of confusion šŸ™ i’ve been teaching this and practising this for years without really breaking it down into the components but now I’m really starting to unpack that and I’m excited!

This series breaks the half-halt down into something you can feel and practice! It’s a system not a mythical beast!
And certainly not just something you try harder to force with your hands…

Here’s a sneak peek of what’s coming…. šŸ™ˆ
let me know if you’re keen to know more!

I’ve been working on my ā€œReign Method Half-Halt Breathā€ thats built in four phases 🫶
This is a little sneak peek of Phase 3
The micro-inhaleĀ
A subtle lift through the centre
A quiet activation through the seat

This is where energy moves up, not back.
Where engagement happens without force.
Where the horse mirrors the rider -
lightening the forehand and stepping under into more better balance, more self carriage, whole body swing and connection from back to front, inside to outside šŸ™

You haven’t seen Phases 1 or 2 yet.
That’s intentional šŸ˜‰ 🤫

This video is a glimpse inside the Reign Method -
a preview of the moment most half-halts are missing -

Our hips hold more than the tight muscles
They hold tension, stress, emotions -
and whatever we hold in our body,
we carry straight into the saddle

Tight or uneven hips don’t just affect you - they change the way your horse’s back moves underneath you

When your hips brace, your seat blocks.
When your hips are uneven, your horse becomes crooked.
When your hips can’t absorb movement,
your horse absorbs it for you.

Your hips are your shock absorbers,
your stabilisers,
your emotional storage centre,
your communication hub.

When you free and strengthen your hips, everything improves:
✨ Softer seat
✨ Clearer aids
✨ Better balance
✨ Straighter riding
✨ A looser, more swinging horse
✨ A calmer nervous system - for both of you

Releasing tension off the horse matters just as much as what you practise on the horse

Change your hips,
and you change your seat -
which changes your horse.

I didn’t plan to reinvent my entire world.
But between professional riding, running a little sales empire, burnout, separation, rebuilding my body with Pilates, tragedy, leaning into yoga, faith, and psychology…
life had other plans šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø(and I think that’s half the fun of this rodeo we call life ✨)

I became strong in new ways.
Soft in new ways.
And connected to myself in a way riding alone never taught me (although it taught and still teaches me so much)

The Reign Era is the integration of it all —
movement, mindset, biomechanics, spirituality, resilience, community.

A space for riders who want more than a new position in the saddle -
they want a deeper way of living, leading, and moving through the world 🄹

If that’s you… welcome home.
There’s so much coming in 2026 ✨

So I’ve been a little quiet here 🤫 … but I’ve been building …

I just finished my long overdue 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in Bali with the incredible and honestly the way this approach to yoga has evolved my understanding of alignment… way beyond just the physical - is exactly what riders and women from all walks of equestrian life need right now.

It really is the missing piece of the puzzle from my passion for Pilates, Dressage and Mindset training … and I can’t wait to bring it all together in a way for riders and women to really digest, embody and transform in 2026. It feels like the culmination of my life’s work, I’ve been soaking it all in, joining the dots for how it specifically relates to riders drawing on my own experience as a professional rider for many years, and am literally bursting at the seams to share it with all of you!!

I believe fully that when a rider is aligned, centred and grounded… their horse feels it instantly. Just like, when a human is aligned, centred and grounded… they live better, and their quality of life on or off the horse sky rockets šŸš€

Reign really is taking shape - slowly, intentionally, quietly. The fog is lifting, and every step along the way feels like it’s been leading me here 🄹 every little piece of the puzzle that becomes revealed feels like a gift I am blessed to share 🫶

And yes… the first wellness-for-horse-riders workshops for 2026 are already pencilled in 🤫

Watch this space.
The building is well underway šŸ¤ and I really, truly feel so grateful to have this vision, am working hard to bring it to life and I can’t the next chapters unfold!

Riders:
ā€œI swear my core was on yesterday.ā€

Also riders during transitions:
…is it though? šŸ˜…

If you want a core that actually shows up when you need it - not just in theory - you need to train it off the horse šŸ’•

Strong seat. Strong spine. Stronger riding. Stronger in life.

COMMENT CORE and I’ll dm you the VIP early access to this full 3 min rider specific core burner šŸ”„šŸ”„

I’ve pushed myself through Bali Belly and almost 60 hours of teacher training this week šŸ˜…šŸ¤£ - learning new skills so I can better serve and support riders and women, physically and mentally. This week was pushed me beyond my comfort zone and then some. And it reminded me of something huge in riding:

Your brain isn’t scared of shoulder-in or that 8m circle because it’s ā€œtoo hardā€ā€¦
It’s just scared because it’s new, and there’s only one way for it to become familiar.. and it’s to give it a go!

If we stay in the same patterns, the same outline, the same circles, the same habits all the time, nothing changes. We need to constantly challenge our own alignment and suppleness, as well as our horses to progress ✨

No new feel?
No new softness?
No new connection?
No progress?

Maybe you’re not getting out of your comfort zone enough in your training…
It’s not about being perfect, it’s about exploration and curiosity in both bodies every single ride. It’s about asking the questions, of yourself, your horse, your trainers šŸ™

This week, choose brave:
✨ ride the line even if it feels wobbly
✨ ask for the bend and then ask yourself how it feels
✨ try the thing you’ve been avoiding

Your horse doesn’t need you to be fearless, or perfect, they just need you to be curious, open and willing to try šŸ’•

Growth lives on the other side of that tiny uncomfortable step and I’m right there learning and growing with you all so I can bring you something really special in 2026 🫶

These are the notes I keep coming back to…
The ones I wish all my riders could read before they get on

Training horses isn’t about forcing, fixing, or chasing perfection
It’s about learning to meet your body, and your horse’s body - exactly as they are today

Some days you’re balanced
Some days you’re emotional
Some days your horse is tight, crooked, or mentally somewhere else
And that’s all part of the process you have to learn to love

When you stop fighting what ā€œshouldā€ be
and start riding what is,
everything gets easier.
The work becomes honest.
The partnership softens.
Your horse begins to trust your feel
And you begin to trust yourself and that’s spectacular

Save this for your next ride -
your horse will feel the difference. šŸ¤
