Last week the Tavs, BMC1 and BMC2 boys officially kicked off pre-season training with Jarred from RSP Sports Physiotherapy.

There were plenty of squats, lunges, groans and a few boys discovering muscles they didn’t know existed. 💪😅

Great to see such a strong group getting around each other and putting in the work early. The season might still be a while away, but the foundations are being built now.

Thanks to our awesome coaches - Dan, Mark and Ryan - for putting in the extra time with our boys.

📣 JOIN THE TOOMBUL DISTRICT CRICKET CLUB TEAM – OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

As Toombul District Cricket Club continues to grow both on and off the field, we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Operations Assistant to join our administration team.

✅ Immediate start available for the right applicant.
📅 This position is three days per week, preferably Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role provides an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in sports administration and community sport management.

🏏 Key Responsibilities
🔵 Assist with general administrative and operational tasks
🔴 Coordinate canteen and bar operations with members and executive representatives
🔵 Support the delivery of club programs and events
🔴 Assist with member communications and stakeholder engagement
🔵 Contribute to the day-to-day operations of one of Queensland's leading cricket clubs

🏏 What We're Looking For
🔴 Strong organisational and communication skills
🔵 Ability to work collaboratively with volunteers, members and club officials
🔴 A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
🔵 Passion for sport and community engagement

A huge congratulations to our Stage 1 and 2 award winners from the recent BNJCA awards evening!

Our Stage 2 Girls team smashed the competition, taking out both the Pre and Post Xmas Premierships whilst our players received an amazing 9 individual awards across both divisions.

Our Junior Girls Stage 1 and 2 teams continue to go from strength to strength on and off the field each season & we can’t wait to see what they achieve next year. Congratulations All!

Registrations are now OPEN for the 2026 season.

The Toombul District Cricket Club is preparing for another successful season and invites boys aged 12–15 years old to register for Calves Academy trials.

The Calves Academy is a key part of Toombul’s player pathways program, designed to support young cricketers in developing their skills and preparing for higher levels of cricket.

Participants will benefit from:
