Having our students practice their techniques on each other through sparring is a fantastic way for children to practice control, teamwork and pushing themselves out of their comfort zone.

Children often start nervous, and then quickly have fun and improve. This all leads to a boost in confidence! ⭐

A belt just keeps the uniform together.

It’s the years of training, perseverance, and growth behind the belt that give it meaning.

By the time a student earns their black belt, they are not only capable martial artists who can defend themselves, they are also people of tremendous character.

Discipline. Focus. Resilience. Humility. Leadership.

When we earn a black belt, it’s not really the belt we are proud of.

It’s the person we had to become in order to earn it.

This weekend, we’re about to see more students realise for themselves that they are people of tremendous character, with a black belt mindset.
